THE MARKETING CERTIFICATE PROGRAM AT BENEDICTINE UNIVERSITY addresses a variety of fundamental marketing issues of the 21st century, including Internet marketing, international marketing, promotional strategies and consumer behavior. The program offers a concentrated focus for professionals who are looking to expand their knowledge of marketing and consumer behavior with an emphasis on understanding market, product, price, promotion and place of distribution. Coursework will allow students to develop foundations of sound marketing strategies, including effective application of research methodologies.

Businesses are seeking professionals who are highly skilled in assessing their image, brand and position in the marketplace, and can align marketing functions with their core values, mission and strategic goals. As corporations continue to expand their operations

worldwide, marketing professionals will need to possess a specific set of skills. Students who complete the Marketing Certificate program will be able to identify international marketing approaches that support the objectives of global organizations.

All courses are based on adult learning principles and are delivered in a fully online model providing maximum flexibility. Students also enjoy the benefits of a strong, values-based education with all the convenience of an adult learner setting.

The certificate program may be completed in less than eight months. Students may seek the certificate independently (18 semester credit hours), or as a concentration (12 semester credit hours) with an Adult Accelerated Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Organizational Leadership or a B.A. in Management.
