“We have around 220 injection systems in place with our customers throughout the upper Columbia basin. They’re mostly used for fertigation, but some are also used for chemigation in crops that include potatoes, wheat, mint and corn. Those systems include a mix of Agri-Inject units and a competitive brand. However, since we furnish the customer with the injection unit as part of our services, we’ve been trying to convert 10 or 15 units per year over to Agri-Inject. They’re much easier to calibrate and you don’t have to shut down the system to calibrate the micrometer with Agri-Inject. We have a few 30 gallon-per-hour units on the job, but most of them are 55s and 110s. We certainly can’t afford to upgrade all of the units at once, but we definitely prefer the Agri-Inject models when we do change them over. They’re just easier to use.”

The patented Mist'r Mist’r® injection valve is the most advanced check valve available to the irrigation industry. To complement the system, we’ve developed the Mist'r Mind’r “clean key” that features two different key sizes, allowing it to be used on the “Classic Mister Mist’r”, “Ultra Mister Mist’r” and “Stainless Steel Mister Mist’r” injection valves.

All that is normally required during inspection and maintenance is to remove and disassemble the valve using the Mist'r Mind’r, rinse it in clean water, and

How it’s used

The key to effective chemigation is complete mixing of the product being injected into the water flowing through the irrigation system. Problem: Zones lacking sufficient fertilizer coverage

When the swing arm extends to cover the additional acres in the corners, the overall crop in that area is under fertilized, resulting in lower yields.

Solution: reflex® Proportional Injection Systems

The addition of a reflex® Proportional Injection System automatically increases the fertilizer injection rate for the increased flow through the irrigation system when the swing arm is extended.

The result is even, sufficient fertilizer coverage over every square foot of your field. When you add a reflex system to your corner pivot irrigation system, the yield increases are dramatic.
