    Individual Annuities

    Focused Growth Annuity 6

    Tax-deerred annuities beneft

    rom the eect o triple-

    compounding, meaning that

    an annuity earns interest on

    the principal (initial premium

    payment), on the interest

itsel (amount credited asaccount growth based on the

    contract interest rate) and on

    the amount that would have

    been paid as income taxes.

    Optimize Growth With This Annuity

The Focused Growth Annuity oers a robust set o eatures to help optimizegrowth potential. This annuity is an ideal choice or a long-term saver whocan appreciate the benets o tax-deerred growth, protection and limitedaccess to unds. Few taxable investments provide this blend o saety, growth and fexibility.

    Rate Guarantees

The annuity will be credited an interest rate that is guaranteed or six years.Ater that guarantee period, the contract will receive subsequent renewalrates based on the current economic and interest-rate environment. Theannuity contract is assigned a guaranteed minimum rate; the renewal ratewill never be set below this rate. Interest is calculated and credited daily.

    Tax-Qualifcation Options

This annuity may be established as an Individual Retirement Annuity, 403(b)Tax-Sheltered Annuity or Simplied Employee Pension to initiate or continuea qualied retirement savings account.

Lump-sum deposits and complete or partial exchanges o nonqualied undsmay also be accepted into this annuity.

    Eligibility

A Focused Growth Annuity 6 may be established or owners age 1890 andor annuitants age 090. The Focused Growth Annuity requires a minimum

premium amount o $15,000 and a maximum o $1,000,000. Greateramounts may be considered, but must receive home-oce approval prior toapplication. Additional premium payments may be made during the rst 90days o the contract.

    Advantages O Tax Deerral

Taxes will be due only when withdrawals or distributions are made romthe annuity. This will generally be during retirement, when most peoplend themselves in a lower tax bracket. As a result, interest accumulates onprincipal, earnings and on money otherwise paid in income taxes.
