OBSERVATION

Store ambiance is good customer service display standard is good.Store have mass collection in all dept. most of the articles are fast moving.No special offer in this store if price reduce they keepthe stock on the same place they don’t high light it.Store don’t have ATV / UPT set target .June to July month store avg sale was 15000 SAR after step store opened avg sale of the store droped to 12000 SAR.Store front Glass frame does not have any merchandise or graphics glass is covered by empty screen

OBSERVATIONLocation & customers entry The store is located opposite Jarir book store so almost 30% of the customers who goes to the jarir book store visit Payless because of the visibility of the store and also display of items and promo table right at the entrance of the store .It has a big parking space as well so it is also convenient for the customer to shop peacfully.

Sore Area & Lay Out Store area is 2500 sqft and divided in 3 Section Men’s, Ladies, and Kids.

Ladies promo table kept in the Store entrance and in the 2nd entrance Kids Promo table kept. In this Store they are not using any kind of Gondola. All the display is done at Wall in the racks. Box display is done in across the Store at Wall.

1 Wall around 10 meters length and 2 meters height is for Kids dept and on the opposite side Ladies Wall of same Length and height back to back in the 3rd Zone of Store Men’s dept is arranged same on the wall back to back wall .

In Ladies Dept store is having Wedge shoes ,Wedge Sandals ,Flat Shoes Flat Sandals ,Low high heel Shoes , Heel Sandals ,Boots, Sports Shoes.

In Accessories Dept having Ladies very few Collection of Ladies Hand Bags and Shoes Care Products which is kept on the Cash Counter.

In Men’s Dept having Casual Shoes, Canvas Shoes and Leather Sandals.

Product High light and Merchandising

Ladies Dept highlighted with New A/W Product in the Entrance .Product kept on tables and highlighted with price labels.There are 2 Racks Stand which is with Glass Shelves kept in Show Window.1 is caring Ladies Wedge Shoes and Flat Shoes and 2nd is caring Low high Heel Shoes .All products are highlighted with small Price stand .At the Kids Window they have done in the same way of Ladies .Kept 1 Table for Kids .Which is highlighted with Girls infant sandals along with price label.For men’s they have not done any Window display.On the Ladies wall Low high heel shoes Collection kept and highlighted with Prices. And also arranged by Subgroup than arranged by Sizes also .Mostly they are displaying 37 and 38 size in the Display.In Men’s dept Wall divided in Shoes and Sandals area.In shoes they highlighted by subgroup and than by prices also and Sizes wise also.Men’s Dept mostly they kept in Display 41 and 42 Sizes .Remaining sizes kept on the top of the Wall for all Dept.

Product Value and Made

Mostly products are made by China and in-house brand call as Smart Shoes.

Product value is almost same to us. Like Ladies Shoes price is starting from 69 to 180 and men’s starting from 89 to 199.

Prices are same to us but according to design and Quality it’s not effecting us because our designs are more attractive and new always.

Addition information of al shaya group

Daharan mall khobar Store Pay less and Milano they planed to close on Nov-2014 due to rent issue with Al hokair company

PAYLESS OTHAIM MALLAdvantagesthey have promo table foe all department right in front of the main door where it can been easily viewed by customer who is just passing by.They have a very good parking space which is easily accessible which in right in front of the store.
