The Pantheon is an ancient templein Rome that was later convertedinto the Church of Santa Maria adMartyres. Dating from 125 AD, thisis the most complete ancientbuilding in Rome. The Pantheonwas dedicated to pan theos ,meaning all the gods. When itbecame a Church, it was dedicatedto the Virgin Mary and all the

martyrs. The Pantheon is the burialplace of several important Italiansand it remains an active Church.

The statues of the gods from thePantheon are now found in theVatican Museum with the exceptionof the great statue of Jupiter, whichhas been modified, re-titled, andseated on a throne in St. Peter sBasilica in Rome as St. Peter.

Thousands of pilgrims kiss the footof Jupiter while thinking it is thestatue of Peter and have nearlyworn it away. Notice the sun wheelabove his head? Note also that thepattern on the wall behind thestatue utilizes the symbol of Baal.

Following the conquest of Mesopotamia by the Persians, theBabylonian priesthood fled to

Pergamum in Asia Minor. Here theyerected the Acropolis temples of Pergamum in honor of the GreekPantheon, but continued to worshipthe Babylonian mystery god underthe name of Saturnus.

III died without an heir andbequeathed his kingdom to Rome.

Adad, Enlil, Baal, Neptune,Poseidon and other gods of stormand sea were depicted as carrying

tridents. It was symbolic of lightning.

The Roman Catholic Church utilizesthe pine cone just as any goodPagan religion would do. This isfurther evidence that RomanCatholicism is more Pagan thanChristian. In fact we could say thatRoman Catholicism is counterfeitChristianity with Paganism as itsbeating heart. Pine cones arecommon in Roman Catholicarchitecture and sacreddecorations. Note how the cone atthe Vatican is immature andtherefore unopened, just the waythey want it!

The Pope carries a pine conemounted on his staff, the ultimatepagan symbol.

Since the ultimate goal of religion isthe securing of eternal life, oneshould not be surprised that thePope should be carrying theultimate Pagan symbol of eternallife.

One of the most visible evidencesthat sun worship has continuedunder the name of Christianity.Look at the Pope with the symbol of

Baal (sun worship) at theforefront of his mitre, whichsymbolizes the Dagon god. Thesymbol of the Dagon is in the formof a hat or mitre. Notice the openmouth of the fish at the top of thePope s mitre. The most famoustemples of Dagon were at Gaza(Judges 16:21-30) and Ashdod (1Samuel 5:3-7; 1Chronicles 10:10).Dagon was represented with theface and hands of a man and thelower half the body as the tail of afish (1 Samuel 5:3-4).

Now look closely at the tapestrybelow John Paul II who is makinghis first public appearance as Popein 1978.

On the tapestry hung from thebalcony, there is the symbol of Baal

/ Shamash very evident. Comparewith the above image. In Hebrew,the word for sun is: 8121.shemesh, sheh -mesh; from anunused root mean. to be brilliant;the sun; by impl. the east; fig. aray, i.e. (arch.) a notchedbattlement:-- + east side (-ward),sun ([rising]), + west (-ward),window.

Look closely at the chest andaround the neck of this Neo-Assyrian standing stone(stele/stela) dating from about824-811 B.C., which depicts KingShamshi-Adad V.

Note in particular the necklace theKing is wearing. On it is what iscalled a Cross Patte or CrossForme. It was about twenty eighthundred years ago that this shapewas symbolic of pagan sun worship.

Now look closely at the Pope whowears a similar symbol around hisneck on the Pallium, which thePope also confers on selectedbishops as an ornamental token of his favor, and it is also worn byarchbishops and patriarchs as asymbol of their authority as ametropolitan, derived from unitywith the Pope.

Note also, that beneath John Paul sPallium there is a partially obscureddiagonal cross, which mimics thediagonal bands below the CrossPatte worn by the pagan king. ThePope also has a ring and staff of authority, remarkably similar to thedepiction of the sun god Shamash.

Looking up into the dome of St.Peter s you will notice the veryobvious 16 ray sun wheel. Indeedthe light from the sun streams intothe center hub of the dome makinga genuine sun-lit sunburst image atthe center of the wheel. The Biblesays these symbols were associatedwith sun worship, which is stronglycondemned in scripture. So why arethey so prevalent in the RomanCatholic Church if they areassociated with paganism andapostasy and what became of sun

worship?

From sun and serpent worship 2000 B.C., to Sunday worship in theChurch. Satan has infiltrated the Christian Church and most do notunderstand what has happened or the relevance. Sunday or dies solis ,the day of the sun came from Satan worship and is his day. TheBabylonian mystery religion went straight into the Church of Rome andGod calls her Mystery Babylon .
