This design will continuously monitor a moving Vehicle and report the status of the Vehicle on demand. For doing so P89C51RD2 microcontroller is interfaced serially to a GSM Mo-dem and GPS Receiver. A GSM modem is used to send the position (Latitude and Longitude) of the vehicle from a remote place.

The GPS modem will continuously give the data i.e. the latitude and longitude indicating the position of the vehicle. The same data is sent to the mobile at the other end from where the position of the vehicle is demanded. When the request by user is sent to the number at the GSM modem, the system automatically sends a return reply to that mobile indicating the position of the vehicle in terms of latitude and longitude in real time.

When this signal reaches a Mark Hint Golf Ball, the ball returns a separate specific RF signal. The handheld receiver is tuned to listen for the signal from the ball. The handheld will locate all Mark Hint Golf balls (in your pocket, golf bag or golf cart for example). It is critical that you keep all Mark Hint Golf balls shielded from detection. Use the large pouch in your golf bag to store a dozen balls and the small pouch in your pocket for one ball. The ball is USGA conforming and meets all USGA specifications for size, weight, distance, initial velocity and symmetry. It has been thoroughly tested for durabil-ity and performance parameters including carry, distance, roll and dispersion accuracy. The embedded microchip is so small that it does not affect the performance of the ball in any way. The chip has no power source and will last as long as the ball.

What is GPS tracker and how it will help you?Global Positioning System (GPS) is a worldwide radio-navigation system formed from the constellation of 24 satellites and their ground stations. The Global Positioning System is mainly funded and controlled by the U.S Department of Defence (DOD). The system was ini-tially designed for the operation of U. S. military. But today, there are also many civil users of GPS across the whole world. The civil users are allowed to use the Standard Positioning

A GPS tracking system uses the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) network. So, a GPS tracking system can potentially give both real-time and historic navigation data on any kind of journey. GPS provides special satellite signals, which are processed by a receiver. In order to make the simple mathematical calculation the GPS receiver must know two things. First it must know the location of the place is to be traced by at least three satellites above the place. Sec-ond, it must know the distance between the place and each of those Space Vehicles. Units that have multiple receivers that pick up signals from several GPS satellites at a same time. These radio waves are electromagnetic energy that travels at the speed of light. A GPS tracking system can work in various ways. From a commercial perspective, GPS de-vices are generally used to record the position of vehicles as they make their journeys. Some systems will store the data within the GPS tracking system itself (known as passive tracking) and some send the information to a centralized database or system via a modem within the GPS system unit on a regular basis (known as active tracking) or 2-Way GPS. A passive GPS tracking system will monitor location and will store its data on journeys based on certain types of events. So, for example, this kind of GPS system may log data such as where the device has traveled in the past 12 hours.
