Prospective experience with tourniquet - less TKA: registry outcomes, adverse event avoidance. < 5% of Stryker drain blood capture is re-infused in the GSH OCE program. A registry-based retrospective study examining the wasted blood amount, transfusion rates, and other related

questions. Research question: In light of modern blood preservation measures, is there no longer a need for a re-infusion drain use in primary arthroplasty of the hip and knee? These blood preservation measures would be anemia clinic for pre-op anemia correction, intra-operative bleeding control, TXA, cautious use of “mandated" VTE prophylaxis drugs and doses, lower H/H transfusion triggers, etc.
