YOUTH MEET TONIGHT in the FLC at 6 p.m.

5th SUNDAY SING will begin at 6:30 p.m. due to Pastor Dale and committee members’ return from the District training, A Day of New Beginnings, at Wesley UMC in Cleveland. Their last training session ends at 5 p.m.

NO BIBLE STUDY THIS EVENING but everyone is invited to come and enjoy the 5th Sunday Sing at 6:30 p.m. - a special time of spirit-filled music.

FEBRUARY 5th IS 2012 SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY! Bring your cans of soup to church with you next Sunday. The cans of soup are donated to “Our Daily Bread” to help feed those in need in our community.

UMW NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN! In lieu of a traditional Bake Sale, the United Methodist Women (UMW) are hosting a “No Bake” Bake Sale. This is a chance to contribute to the funds used to help local folks who are less fortunate. Every penny of this money will be spent in Rhea County. Last year, $1200 was collected, but we need to try and top this goal. The UMW appreciate your generous support! MEXICO MEDICAL MISSION TEAM is very grateful for all the generous donations given on behalf of Katie Rose and Allison Neal. One thousand, eight hundred and five dollars has been designated for their trip. Any further funds collected will go toward medical supplies. The Mexico Medical Team is very thankful for your love, support, and prayers!

NURSERY WORKER NEEDED FOR WEDNESDAY evenings. We need a volunteer to work in the nursery (6:30 - 8:30 p.m.) on Wednesdays. Please contact Angie Rose at 365-2765 or the church office at 365-6324 if you would like to fill the urgent need we have for a nursery worker. If no one will volunteer, the church is willing to pay someone to work in the nursery on Wednesday evenings.
