MARIYON I. ROBERTSON Mr. Robertson is Chairman of MetPlan Corporation, a real estate planning and development company. He is also Vice Chairman and Principal of Cassidy Turley, a leading American commercial real estate services provider with over 60 offices nationwide. Born in Tokyo, he received his formal education in Japan, Singapore and the U.S.A. Mariyon’s business experience spans 8 years of strategic planning for the Asian division of Huntington Pacific, a multinational construction business. This was followed by over 27 years of providing commercial real estate services from a base in the New York City metropolitan area market, and extending throughout the United States and East Asia, particularly Japan. Mr. Robertson’s unique experiences provide clients with a special access to the subtleties of international real estate markets. Hands-on expertise covers a range of specialties: coordination of investment arrangements, development planning, project management, leasing, marketing and all aspects of negotiation for commercial, residential, retail, and resort projects. In addition to international corporate consultation, Mariyon’s advice is sought by governmental entities around the globe. In April 2003 he was appointed Executive Advisor to Osaka City, where he is involved in ideation for city revitalization and international promotion. As advisor to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Mr. Robertson has assisted in the Tokyo Waterfront Development on Tokyo Bay, which contains 60 million square feet of buildable office space.
