Experience in, but not limited to, Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs. Assisting the President of ALC as needed. Building Awareness about ALC and its goals as a non-for-profit organization. August 2012 - Present Michael’s Arts and Crafts., Brentwood, Sacramento, CA; Florist Greeting and giving excellent customer service and using effective two-way communication practices with shoppers. Being responsible for generating sales and achieving production goals by designing professional, top quality, creative floral and custom arrangements upon requests from customers. Giving exceptional product knowledge to guests while also providing demonstrations and one-on-one interaction with customers, in addition to providing world-class service to customers. Merchandising floral arrangements. While working at Michael’s I have also held the following positions: Sales Associate, Cashier, Replenishment and Kids Events. April 2012-August 2012 Minnairie’s Under the Sea Swim School, Antioch, CA; Swim Instructor Teaching children and adults to be safe around water, while also introducing them to life skills such as self-confidence, self-discipline and integrity. Teaching basic swimming technique. Plan and effectively organizing class time for maximum practice efficiency. This was accomplished through weekly lesson plans.
