first in1943, in Mendrisio Ticino (Italian Switzerland).
Biography
When he was 15 years old, he decided to work as a drawer with
Tita Carloni and Luigi Camanish and droped out school.
Studied at Milan Art Schoolbefore start studing architecture at
IUA (Instituto Universitario di Architettura) in Venice, and
graduated in 1969.
BiographyIn 1983 was nomed as teacher of Swiss Polytechinc
Schools.
Between 1982 and 1987, was member of Swiss Federal Commission of
Arts.
In 1996, helped with the foundation of new Architecture Academy
of Ticino in Mendrisio. Was the director per two years (2002 and
2003).Relationship between outside and inside the building.
Vertical spatial expansion.
Opening up to the ceiling.
Influenced by Kahn and Carlo Scarpa.
Try to conciliate traditional architecture and the aesthetics
