God has given you the gift of your body, and it comes with an owner’s manual — the Bible. Init are all the instructions you need to take care of yourself and live a long life. You alreadyknow the basics: proper nutrition, exercise, and a good night’s rest. But there’s another healthfactor you may not have thought of for living long and well.

Trusting God is good for your health. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on yourown understanding” (Proverbs 3:5 NIV).

Why is trusting in God good for your health? Because when you trust him, you don’t worry.

It’s not just what you eat that matters. It’s what eats you! You can have all the rightmacrobiotics and organic food, but if your body is filled with resentment, worry, fear, lust, guilt, anger, bitterness, or any other emotional disease, it’s going to shorten your life. You have a choice:You can either worry or worship. You can either pray or panic. The more you pray, the less you’ll panic. Relax, because God will take care of you!

Prayer List:

Steve Eggleston (shoulder surgery recovery), Len Sobie, Ed Robnett, Ken and Flo Gulling,Redman and Kathy Hundley, Gary Sloan, John Kiley, Bob Mace, Dave Dubois, Howard Osborn,Lyle Roberts, Roger Fowler, Brian Morningstar, the Bland family especially granddaughter,Sierra. John Harkness, cataract surgery(s).

GOD Bless,Ray Notarian, Chaplain

From the Editor,It has been several years that I have edited the detachment newsletter. It has been both enjoyable andat times frustrating. I am looking for a member of the detachment that would be interested in takingover the position as editor. Over the years the newsletter has evolved from a few pages in black andwhite to as many as 10 to 12 pages in full color. You will be responsible for emailing it to alldetachment members with an email address, Department of Ohio Officers and posting it on thedetachment web site. Knowledge of Microsoft office is necessary. Creativity is a plus.
