Jacquelynne Fontaine, Soprano, is thrilled to return to Marina Del Rey and perform again with Maestro Fetta and the Culver City Symphony! She is a 2010 Loren L. Zachary National Vocal Competition Winner, and most recently, finished over one thousand performances as the Italian Opera Diva “Carlotta” in the Broadway National Tour of The Phantom of the Opera. She is a Western Regional Finalist for the Metropolitan National Council Auditions, the winner of the Palm Springs Opera Guild, the Burbank Philharmonic, and the Rio Hondo Symphony competitions. She has performed locally with the Redlands Symphony, the South Coast Symphony, the Jacaranda Concert Series, as a Beverly Hills Audition winner, at the Viennese Luncheon, and on Sundays Live! on KUSC at LACMA. At home and abroad, some of her favorite opera roles include Violetta, La Traviata; Donna Anna and Donna Elvira, Don Giovanni; Susanna, Le Nozze di Figaro; and Pamina, Die Zauberflöte. Musical theater credits include: Kathy, The Student Prince at the Pittsburgh CLO; Charlotte, A Little Night Music with the Indiana Repertory Theatre; Elsa in The Sound of Music at the North Shore Musical Theatre; and Anna in The King & I with Opera North. She received her Masters in Music and completed two years of doctoral studies at the Thornton School of Music at USC. She earned her BA in Music at Cal Lutheran University.
