Six pieces of the limited edition collection that Fabio Rotella and Flavia Aprilini have interpreted thanks to the help of picotesserae

TILLA® by Mutaforma. Unique pieces that act as interior decoration and casket (the frame is nickel-plated metal and the inside is in taupe velvet). A little more in detail, these precious masks are the result of research and experimentation in the context of the “augmented materials” by the Milanese brand Mutaforma: particles of nanometric dimensions, with speciic chemical-physical properties, are deposited on glass matrices changing its optical characteristics and aesthetic value. Together with the masks, the concept is extended also thanks to Tilla in Wonderland, a second collection that aims to narrate the potential of the Mutaforma technology like a fairy tale. www.mutaforma.com

Un po’ più nel dettaglio, queste maschere preziose sono il risultato di ricerca e sperimentazione nell’ambito dei ‘materiali aumentati’ del brand milanese Mutaforma: particelle di dimensioni nano-metriche, con speciiche proprietà chimico-isiche, vengono depositate su ‘matrici di vetro’ cambiandone le caratteristiche ottiche e la valenza estetica. Insieme alle masche-re, il concept si amplia grazie anche a Tilla in Wonderland, una seconda collezione che vuole raccontare come in una favola le po-tenzialità della tecnologia Mutaforma. www.mutaforma.com
