I wanted to introduce you to Philip! He became a Christian around three months ago, and I have been so inspired by him.

I physically feel impacted when I talk to him, because I know that he is absolutely convinced in what he is saying. Here is a

little bit of what he shared with me:

“Ever since my conversion as a follower of Christ, I've begun to develop a passion that I never

thought I would for studying the Bible! I can't even describe into words the exponential

amount of spiritual growth I have been experiencing. I have been faithfully reading the word

(slowly and carefully) each and every single day, and it has been nothing short of remarkable!

From this, I have been starting to overcome my fear of evangelism to others, and even started

to witness to a few of my co-workers in the office.

We MUST do our part as true followers of Christ to go out and spread the good news. I can't waste anymore time in

my life on this earth! God has been placing a great burden in my heart everyday for those who are lost. Just walking

through the streets everyday makes me sorrowful for all the lost souls that go past me! Christ has remarkably

changed my once cynical heart, in order to start loving others just the way He did.”

It is great to be around people like Philip! He is just starting his journey, and still

has a lot to experience - but there is something so compelling and powerful that

many of us can learn from! We all need to fan the flame to devour God’s word

and kindle afresh a heart for the lost souls that pass us everyday!

Philip is one of those dream students that we reach out to. College students are

starting their lives as young adults and are solidifying the trajectory for the rest

of their lives! (their values, their patterns for relating with others, and the

spiritual lives.) The college years hold so many defining moments in their lives,

and we are grateful we can help students navigate those years!
