FBLA T-Shirt

Scenario: You are a member of FBLA and your FBLA Advisers have asked you to design an FBLA t-shirt for this year’s competition. You will be competing against other FBLA members for the win! The winning T-shirt design will be adopted as the FBLA t-shirt for this school year, members will wear your design at the FBLA Day at the National State Fair in Perry, GA on October 15, 2015, and your t-shirt will be entered into competition for a another win against FBLA Chapters in other local school districts. The winning t-shirt, at the local district level, will be announced at the Fall Leadership Conference in Athens, GA in November 2015. BE CREATIVE! GOOD LUCK! Requirements:

Name of School with FBLA included (not just school initials (for example Marietta High School, not MHS); you may use the initials FBLA, though).

You may use a theme of choice (do not use the Share Your Story logo as the

predominant design element of your t-shirt).

Georgia FBLA Flag Logo (state and FBLA flag logo) or FBLA flag logo should be

included on the t-shirt.

The above must be on your shirt. You are free to add anything else that would be appropriate.

Please note that FBLA logo does not have to be the central element of the t-shirt.

Remember: What makes a good t-shirt design are these:

Target Audience (buyers you are targeting)

Concept (idea, thought, impression)

Design (scheme, intention, plan)

Quality (excellence, class, value)

Presentation (appearance)

SMART

GOALS

Page 13: Marietta High Schoolmhsindustrycertification.weebly.com/uploads/2/2/3/1/22315764/flac… · FBLA Integration Shirley Flack FBLA Activities in Introduction to Business and Technology

Setting goals and creating a plan of action to achieve them is one of the most fundamental aspects of

self-discovery and business development. People need to realize their goals and how to achieve them

so that they can get their business of the ground. Today, you are going to think about some SMART

goals that you have for yourself.

S – Specific M – Measurable A – Attainable R – Realistic T – Time bound

We also have SHORT TERM goals (anything that takes a week or less) and LONG TERM goals (anything

that takes longer than a week). Most of your SHORT TERM goals are “stepping stones” for your LONG

TERM goals.

Assignment:

Step1 = You will set 15 goals for yourself.

You will divide up your goals into three groupings.

Academic Goals

Career Goals

Personal Goals The amount of goals under each type is your choice as long as you reach 15 goals total.

Step 2 = Identify three (3) things you could do to obtain these goals.

What do you have to do to achieve it?

What resources will you need?

Step 3 = Identify a time to achieve them by (due date).

A year will be sufficient for long term goals.

Be more specific for your short term goals.

“Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no

destination.”
