Heidi is now Aust Ch Tristania Heilyn after gaining her final Championship points at the Casino Kennel Club show at Kyogle on 5th March. She is not two years old until the end of April this year. Heidi was also awarded Best Australian Bred in the Working Dog Group at that show. “RECENT RESULTS”

Skipper is starting to settle to the task of Agility. It was extremely hot at Coffs Harbour on Saturday and Sunday (12/13th) and everyone was feeling it and the high humidity. Saturday, Skipper gained a first place and qualification in AD cutting 20 seconds off the time and on Sunday again qualilfying and cutting 30 seconds off the time. Pretty pleased with his effort. He also gained a qualification in GD gaining 30 points in his opening, (10 over the requirement) and Clancey also gained NQ's in Masters Jumping coming 2nd and ADX 3rd on Sunday. He had a clear round in JDM but was 0015 of a second over time!!!! Yes, I will have to polish up my signals

“OUT AND ABOUT” She's never been to Grafton TAFE, but Evie says "Hurry up and follow me Mum, you have a job to do and I have people to meet and greet...!"

Don't worry about her saying you're fat; I loves ya jest the way you are.

“WINNER OF WINNERS”

OES, Sup Ch Hartwyn Royal Zenith CDX proved his versatility at Sydney Royal this year winning the Open Obedience ring and followed with Winner of Winners Obedience to win Best in Trial. In the conformation ring he won 1st place in Australian Bred Dog and received the reserve challenge. This qualified him for the Jack Goldstein Gold Medal for excellence in Obedience & Conformation at a single Sydney Royal. Zen will be the 3rd individual Jack Goldstein Gold Medal winner for Hartwyn bred Old English Sheepdogs after Rumour, who won four gold, and Zen’s litter sister Zulu, owned and handled by Pauline Hartwell, who has also won one. Hartwyn OES have won a total of 9 Jack Goldstein medals including silver & bronze. We went to Sydney hoping to make it a round 10 for Hartwyn, any colour would have been fine. Zen & Zulu winning one each means that the only 2 pups I produced from Bliss (Gr Ch Hartwyn Royal Treason CDX) have gone on to be Best in All Breed Show Winners, Champions and Jack Goldstein gold medal winners - 100% of the litter. In Zen’s case a Supreme Champion. Am I proud of that?........just a wee bit, does it show?.

After a long afternoon and into the evening, obedience at the Sydney Royal is finished. Zen won Open Obedience with a score of 195/200. Then went on to win Winner of Winners after finishing in 1st place in Open. A huge congratulations to Phil and Zen and Hartwyn Kennels. An outstanding achievement! Not just a pretty face – Zen

that is!!!!

“VALE FINN” It is with many tears in our eyes that Bert, Michele and Ceugant Beagles announce the passing of our lovable larrikin Grd Ch. Ceugant Dillan, better known to his friends as "Finn". "Finn" who was 14 years and 4 mths was put to sleep recently after being diagnosed with an inoperable spinal tumor. He was a great show boy and gave us many enjoyable times, but most of all he was our best mate. RIP our beautiful Boy.

After this temper tantrum, he would always come with us when we went to a show.

The Handsome "Finn", winner of 3 NSW Still had his favourite toy. Specialties and Runner up in another. This picture taken last year. Winner of 1 Qld Specialty. Loved by everyone.

“VALE RINGO” On 26th February we lost our beautiful red dog Ringo... He was our protector and the very best friend any girl could have hoped for. He may have been a rescue puppy, but we know without a doubt who the rescuer was! 15 years was not enough, but he did well reaching 105 dog years. He will forever be in our hearts. Good boy, Ringo, good boy. Kim and Cordelia
