    Final thoughts...

For more information on how YOUcan make a difference

From the Desk of Executive Director Paul Steffens:

Whale watching, Valentines Day party, more quilts, and a newpartnership lots of things happened in February and lots morewill happen in the rest of the year. Do us a favor and spread theword about our programs. Everyday new military families arrivefor duty in this beautiful city of San Diego. We cannot assumethat new arrivals are aware of our mission. Help us keep every-one informed- As a minimum give them our webpage address..

Im sure you know that we can not meet all the family needs that

arise so we partner with many organizations and agencies. Ihave to share with you a need that was met by the NICE GUYS,an organization that assists families with special needs and indi-viduals who would otherwise fall through the cracks. TheNICE GUYS recently stepped forward and helped us make a ma-jor positive difference in the lives of a young military family.Nice Guys provided funding for the purchase of an IPad for thisyoung family. Through this IPad, the mother of two autistic chil-dren found that her children had more capabilities than were

currently known. Through the use of the IPad, she discoveredthat they knew their numbers, knew colors and had other capa-bilities. Through this one gift, the lives of a military family weresignificantly improved and the future looks brighter for twoyoung children.

    THANK YOU NICE GUYS

FOR ALL OUR MEN AND WOMEN WHO WEAR THE UNIFORMOF THIS GREAT COUNTRY AND YOUR FAMILIES

GOD BLESS - THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!
