    Nu Beta is Back!

On March 28, 2014, in front of Nationals. Alumni,

Brothers, and friends of Phi Mu Delta, Nu Beta

received our Charter! The time we have spent on

this campus has been full of hard work, dedication,

and leadership, and we are proud to have brought

Nu Beta back to this campus.

We recognize this moment, not as a capstone, but as

a launch-pad. We will dedicate ourselves to reach

our next big goals, continuing to raise the bar for

what Fraternity is. We know the future is only as

    bright as we make it.

For many of our Brothers, reaching Charter status was never a focus, but a measuring tool to show

that we as an organization possess potential that will be continually unlocked in the future. We

know, that as our support from parents and alumni continues to grow, our capabilities and abilities

as an organization will only soar.

  • Phi Mus ic

This Friday, April 4, Nu Beta is teaming up with UNH EDMC (Electronic Dance and Music Community) to put

on Phi Music, a 7 hour music festival. There are various acts scheduled, from A Capella to Rock. Tickets are going to

be sold to attendees and we will be raising money for our national philantrophy, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.

Big shout out to brothers Spencer Black and Ryan Ross for putting so much effort into this endeavor! We know it will

be a great success and that it will be one more way in which Nu Beta places our mark on the campus.

    Relay for L i fe

The Nu Beta Chapter of Phi Mu Delta is proud to be a part of and share our leadership in our second Relay for

Life. This years Relay is on April 12, 2014. Brothers will yet again set up the qmd Headquarters at the Relay and

set up entertainment for all the relayers. Last year, we raised over $1000 for the cancer research, and we are looking

to outraise that this year. We would greatly appreciate donations towards this effort, and donations can be made by

    clicking this link.

Nu Beta makes moves in Student Senate

The Men of Nu Beta have made it an effort over the last two academic years to be seen as the leaders on Campus. As

such, Nu Beta has seen Student Senate as a great recruitment source for future Brothers. This term, three Student

Senators accepted their bids to Phi Mu Delta, and brother Joe Sweeney was elected as the Student Body President for

the 2014-2015 term. Of the three new members, Gabe Hoffman will be the 2014-2015 Senate Parliamentarian, Lincoln

Crutchfield will serve as the 2014-2015 Senate Business Manager, and Cameron Cook has an extremely bright future

ahead of him in student government.

I Believe in Democracy... a democracy characterized by the practice of justice in every relation of life. I hold that

justice is the foremost principle to be considered in making my decisions as a voting member of Phi Mu Delta, the

student body, and as a citizen of the United States. I believe in that broad conception of democracy which seeks

freedom of opportunity, and recognizes no color, race, creed, or position.

We think its safe to say these brothers are living up to this part of the creed.

    Alumni Outreach

The Nu Beta Chapter of Phi Mu Delta has many goals and needs to meet.

We greatly appreciate Alumni support and look forward to building our

Alumni network to get everyone on the same page. We have established a

Facebook page to keep in touch with all of the alumni, we have begun send-

ing out these newsletters in order to keep all of our alum in the loop, and

we are actively seeking input from alum as to what programming we should

and can do to best integrate the various years of Phi Mu Delta Nu Beta

Brothers. Now that Nu Beta is re-chartered, it is full steam ahead towards

the future. We know that with the support and backing of our alumni, we

can achieve any goal we set our eyes upon. It is upon the bridges we build

within the brotherhood that future Phi Mu Deltas will walk across and bene-

    fit from.

Help us re-build the bridges you built while on campus by reaching out to

the brothers during your time here and telling them about our efforts. Send

us their emails and contact information so we can integrate them within our

    efforts.

Do not be afraid to ask what we need! Also, any guidance or advice on fu-

ture steps we have to take will be greatly appreciated. We are looking into

an alumni-brothers social for the fall semester and will be happy to keep you

in the loop on those develoments.
