Greetings in the Name of Jesus!The holiday season was awesome – we stayed busy the entire time! We held regular services and enjoyed the various opportunities to celebrate and fellowship with family and friends. We pray that you have experienced God's blessings over the last few months as well. Thank you to everyone who had a part in helping to make 2010 a great success for the kingdom of God.GOOD NEWS!! 2011 will be a greater year than last year! There are cities that need to be reclaimed for the Kingdom of God this year! It is time to take back what has been stolen from us. Man was created in the image of God and we need to be restored to that position. We believe the seed of greatness lies in each of us. The potential needs to be awakened in us, please join us on this journey! Every year, we proclaim to you that this year will be the best yet! As we live our lives serving and submitting to God, we are being changed into Christ’s image from “glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). We need to EXPECT each year, each month, each day to be better than the last! There are no limitations on what God can do in our lives. He is the embodiment of creativity, He is thoroughly capable, He is inexhaustibly powerful and His love knows no end! Let us rely totally on our God and there is no doubt this will be our BEST YEAR EVER!

We appreciate the many incredible letters we have received from men and women who have been touched by the Power of God and have written letters to let us know how God has worked in their lives – we love hearing from you!We have been so encouraged and humbled this year because we have received financial offerings from state prisons inmates. There are a couple of men we ministered to at the Harris County Jail who are now in the Illinois prison system who have sent monetary gifts. Their letters tell of how much they appreciated hearing the uncompromised Word of God when we ministered to them. They said they have been set free in the spirit and want to bless the ministry so that it can continue to reach other people like themselves. Wow! We have received several letters from men who are out of the prison system and doing well; one in particular, is Brother Hollins. The way this man lives his life blesses me! He has fought through discouragement and trials, and now has a job, a car, a place to live, and is going to school to obtain a law degree. In the middle of his own financial struggles and needs, he still gives financially to In the Word Ministries. How awesome the blessing will be when we are faithful in our generosity, especially when we give out of our need.
