Missionary Prayer Requests

Tom & Catalina* (MTW/Belgium) ask that you pray with them for wisdom as they continue to parent their adult children with an eye of returning to Belgium; praise the Lord that Kyle, their oldest son, will be moving to Green-ville late Spring to finish his BA degree. Pray for Tom as he leads the teams in Europe and the US. Pray for Catali-na’s work as an ESL teacher at Agape English Language Institute.

Frankie & Sonia Riley (Serge/Ireland) ask that you pray for them as they spend time with a newly married couple –

the husband is beginning his first pastorate. From the Rileys: “pray that we can all be reminded of, and renewed by, our deeper understanding of where our true identity lies - as sons and daughters of a loving Father - and it is out of that identity we can freely love others and live out our calling as servants of the King. Pray particularly for Nathan and Ashley, as they seek to love and shepherd this church well.”

Peter & Dianne Bakelaar (MTW/Japan) ask that you pray for Peter as he connects with the Nagoya arts community

in an attempt to build bridges for the gospel. Pray for their children who are all in the States now. Keith & Ruth Powlison (MTW/Peru) ask that you pray with them as they prepare to return to Peru April 6 – pray that

God would give them wisdom as they look at adapting their diaconal ministry there; pray that they would be an encouragement to their team members as they return with new energy and new ideas. Pray for their continued safety in the States as they travel by plane, train, and car visiting supporters.

Pam & Bruce Sinclair (MTW/Uganda) ask that you pray that the God whose power is made perfect in weakness will

use them in spite of their physical, emotional, and spiritual frailties, and empower them to continue to serve in Uganda. Pray that the Lord will meet all the spiritual and material needs of the faculty, staff, and students at their 3 schools: African Bible U, Westminster Christian Institute Uganda, and Africa Reformation Theological Seminary.

Glenn & Frances Camenisch (MTW/Portugal) ask that you pray for them as they get settled in the US – there are

many decisions that need to be made that involve not only them, but family as well.

Paul & Liz Meiners (MTW/England) ask that you pray for good decisions in selecting a new International Director (ID) that would oversee the MTW ministry in Europe. Pray for unity among the MTW missionaries in Europe dur-ing this time, and that they would work well together with a new ID. Pray for the ESL class Liz works with as she shares the Easter story in detail.

Bruce & Pam Sinclair (MTW/Uganda) ask that you pray for the new church plant “New City Community Church,” that

meets on the campus of Africa Reformation Theological Seminary: “Pray for the people involved in this work as they reach out to their community.” Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will bring much fruit from the tremendous influx of people to this church plant, especially from the children’s ministry that Pam directs: “It is growing larger every week and more workers are badly needed.”
