Have a blessed day. We express our Christian sympathy to George Vroom and his family with the passing of Wyn. We also express our sympathy to extended family members of our church, Fran and Herm Vellinga, and Cathy and Tim Bisschop. May God comfort each of you in your grief with Wyn’s passing. Mina Wevers remains in hospital in the rehab care wing. We join in thanksgiving with the Grootenboers and the healthy birth of first grandchild, Lia, born to Ashley and Rob Hummelen. Pray for God’s continuous blessings for our church family. GRACE CHURCH: We wish a Happy Birthday to Hilda Wiersma, who turns 77 TODAY and Adrian Dieleman, who turns 82 on March 23. Bill Sluys has been diagnosed with cancer of the prostate gland at the Bluewater Health Centre in Sarnia and is now waiting for admittance in London for radiation treatments. Physician Assisted Suicide: The Supreme Court of Canada has recently mandated the governments of the provinces of Canada to modify their existing laws within one year to allow for the possibility of Physician Assisted Suicide in certain circumstances. If the provincial governments do not craft new legislation, there will be no restrictions on Physician Assisted Suicide. Jennifer Bowen from Shalem Mental Health Network will look at anxiety and depression, their causes, symptoms and treatments and the impact on faith communities.
