Our beautiful new Ridge Oak kitchen was officially opened on February
10th . This work completes the clubhouse’s remodel project. In addition to its
modern look, it has also corrected several flaws in the original design. Some
of them are, room for more storage, a broom closet, providing hot /cold
water on demand, a bigger refrigerator designed to hold platters of food, and
others. In addition, it was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
If you haven’t seen it yet, stop by and give it a look.

Welcome to March, the third month of the year and named after Mars in both
the Julian and Georgian calendars. We will start to see warmer weather as the
month progresses. Vince Maciorski, Chairman of the Grounds Committee, re-
minds us it is a good time to check our sprinklers. Make sure they are in good
working order and the clock is set properly. We don’t want to be watering the
street!
The kitchen remodel at the Ridge Oak Clubhouse is complete, it is beautiful.
Nancy Joy and the Clubhouse Committee completed the project on time and
below budget. This was quite a feat as everything seems to cost more and
take longer than originally anticipated. Check it out when you get a chance.
On February 22nd, The Social Committee presented a Mardi Gras celebration
at the White Oak Clubhouse. Many thanks to Carol Horan, Mary Ann
McGarrah and the rest of the Social Committee for their hard work in making
this a successful event. The next event will be a Fish Fry by Mossman’s Ca-
tering on April 4th, make plans to attend and have a great time.
You may have noticed the California Flag at the Ridge Oak Clubhouse was
shredded due to the high winds we had this past winter. The flag was replaced
thanks to Bob Joy and Martin Hussey and both flags are once again flying in
all their glory.
I hope to see you all at the next board meeting on Tuesday, March 10th, at
4:00 PM at the White Oak Clubhouse.
We are going to be experiencing some excellent weather over the next few
months, get out and enjoy it!
