INSIDER ACCESS TO WHAT’S NEW/NEXT INSINGAPORE
Urban Ventures Street Party1 Keong Saik RdSingapore 08910917 - 18 MARCH
A ground-up placemaking initiative that transforms public spaces into a platform for Arts, Music, and People, Urban Ventures comes back again this year with a bigger platform. Bring the kids along for a weekend of art, music and good food. Pick up a few trinkets the artisans market, take part in free workshops and even make your own animated gif at the photobooth.
TALK LIKE A LOCALKnow slang from the streets.
HuhHuh is Singapore(Singlish) slang for ‘what’. If you’re not too sure about a matter or conversation, say ‘huh’ and any Singaporean will understand what you mean. It’s a fun(and short) way to communicate!

EagleWings Loft9 King Albert Park KAP Residences Mall Singapore 598332
EagleWings Loft has nautical themed interior base off the yacht of the same name. What is served here are Italian and Asian-fusion cuisines and the one dish not to miss out will be their Lobster Risotto which the shop claims that even our Sin-gapore Minister left the plate spotless! Cooked in lobster broth and topped with succulent lobster and scallop chunks, every mouthful gurantees sea-food with it. A must have there.
INSIDER TIP Look out for offers to rent out the yacht available at One Degree Fifteen just around the hotel!
Tian Tian Chicken RiceMaxwell Food CenterSingapore 069184
Chicken rice is a must-try when visiting Singapore so why not go for the one with a Michelin Star? I personally feel the standout point of Tian Tian’s would be their fragrant and whole grains that are juicy and crumbly. Their chicken is also amazing - the meat is really tender despite it’s fi rm texture. Yummy indeed!
INSIDER TIP Complete your meal with a side order of beansprouts for the best experience!
