Lenten Meals and Services The Midweek Lenten Meals and Services will continue each Wednesday throughout the month of March. The meals are served at 5:30 p.m. by various groups within the Church. The Lenten services take place at 6:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary using the Max Lucado video series, “He Chose The Nails.” Join us each week!
Daylight Saving Time Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 11. Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour!
Pirate Party The 3rd Annual Pirate Party is coming soon! Mark your calendars for Fri-day, March 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event is the annual fund-raiser to help fund Kids Helping Kids. This program helps families in need in our community who may be struggling with health, loss, and other things. Volunteers are needed to help work at the event, provide food donations, or donate a themed basket to be given away. Sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center!
Holy Week Schedule Holy Week is fast approaching. A variety of services are planned in the celebration of our Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection. Following are the ser-vices and times. More details to follow! Sunday, March 25—Palm Sunday—regular worship schedule with the children singing at both services Wednesday, March 28—3:30 p.m. Kids Hope Easter Party—No other Wednesday Night Activities Thursday, March 29—7 p.m. Maundy Thursday Service Friday, March 30—7 p.m. Good Friday Service at Parkview UMC Saturday, March 31—7 p.m. Easter Vigil put on by the youth Sunday, April 1—8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services—No Sunday School
“A Way Forward” Informational Meetings Pastor Thom will be leading informational meetings on “A Way For-ward” to address the issue of human sexuality, more specifically perform-ing same-sex marriages and self-avowed practicing homosexuals being clergy. The first two sessions are scheduled for Sunday, March 11, at 9:30-10:45 a.m. and 12:00-1:15 p.m. Watch your emails for reminders!

Central Church has so many wonderful events, activities, and
services being provided to the congregation and community.
We Praise the Lord for His goodness in all things!
* Central Church delivered flowers and goodies to over
50 shut-ins the first week of February!
* Approximately 120 people were served during the an-
nual Valentine’s Day Dinner Theater on February 7.
* The Middle School and High School youth lock-ins in
February were a great success! Thirty-nine middle school youth
attended the lock-in on February 2. Twenty-two high school
youth were present for the lock-in on February 19.
* Approximately 300 people attended and were served
in support of Doug and Jen Aden at their benefit on February
25. The event was a huge success! Thank you to all who attend-
ed!
* Numerous people from Central Church helped provide
goodies and volunteered their time during the American Red
Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, February 27, at Unity Square.
Eighty-six units of blood were donated!
Hallelujah!!!
yoUnited and Children’s Ministries
Central Church’s Middle School and High School yoUnited and
Children’s Ministries groups play an active part with the church
and community. We thank the Lord for the blessing of our chil-
dren!
* The next 8th grade Confirmation Retreat is scheduled
for Friday and Saturday, March 16-17, at the Paul and Sherry
DeBoer home.
* Mark Your Calendars—Central Church will be teaming
up with Living Word Church for its annual Vacation Bible
School this summer. The week-long event will take place at Cen-
tral Church July 23-27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Watch for details
to come!
