Continued from page 1 (Updates)
Coming up on March 4th is Mardi Gras. We
always celebrate this holiday at the office
and this year is no exception. Although
some of the agents will be gone to the RE/MAX
convention, the rest of us will still celebrate. So
come with your beads and we will have King cake
at both offices around the noon hour. Take your
chance of getting the King Baby. It brings you luck
and you get to furnish next years cake.
March 17th is on a Monday. We’re
officially making it jean day but you best
wear some green or you might get
pinched. We will have some goodies
during the lunch hour.
So keep watching for all the things that could be
coming up. We don’t want you to miss out on any of the
fun. We work hard and we play hard that’s what makes
us such a good company of agents.
Till next month,
Donna Schulze
Editor
start with some facts you might find interesting. We all
know that the name for WSU’s athletic teams is the
Shockers & collectively, students are also referred to as
being “Shockers”. The name reflects the university’s
heritage. Early students earned money by shocking or
harvesting wheat in nearby fields. Early football games
were played on a stubbed wheat field. 1904 was when
they became known at “Wheatshockers”. That name
was never officially adopted but caught on till it was
shortened to Shockers. WUShock came to life in 1948.
Now to win a prize! If you know the answer to the
following questions you could win a prize. You need to
call me, Donna Schulze – 554-2828, leave your name,
date and time of day with the correct reply and I’ll let you
know if you are a winner.
Question 1: In 1904 the WSU Pep Club members were
known as what?
Question 2: We have an agent in our office that was
once a WUShock mascot. Who is it and what year or
years did they hold this honor?
So I hope everyone reads the paper and I’ll be waiting for
your calls.
