Parish Pastoral Council Meeting Tuesday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m. in Msgr. Plecity Hall. The Holy Trinity Mardi Gras Gutter Gang presents Bowled Over!! Gather the team for our famous Roast Beef Dinner, Raffle, Square Boards, Auction, DJ, Beer, Snacks and a Silent Auction on January 16 at the American Legion Post 52, 6th and Market St. 4:30-11:00 p.m. Dinner Tickets are $15/one or $25/two or party only $5 at the door. . Cash Raffle with a $1000 First Prize-Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Tickets will be sold after Masses or at the rectory during business hours. If you can help with the sale of Raffle Tickets please call the rectory. The Mardi Gras Krewe is looking for donations for the Live and Silent Auctions. St. Anne's Fun Night, Thursday, January 7, 6:00 p.m. in Leo Hall. Come join us for a fun evening of Bingo, gift-card prizes, and fellowship. Bring your favorite appetizer to share. Beverages provided. Wine-tasting Social Event presented by the Wine Guys and sponsored by St. Anne's, Feb. 4 in Leo Hall. Pairing 6-8 wines with cheeses and appetizers the Wine Guyz will explain the culture of wine-making and the art of experiencing the bouquet and flavors of wine. This event is for all adults. Tickets are available for $20 each at the SCRIP table or the rectory during business hours. THANKS TO ALL WHO SUPPORT the SCRIP program. We have many gift cards available –There is a list in the Gathering Area. You can create an account at the Great Lake SCRIP Center and order online using Presto-Pay (a secure site to pay for purchases) and print gift certificates on your home computer or use them on your cell phone. Contact the rectory for information about setting up an account or take a flyer located at the kiosk in the church. 60% of the profit from the cards can be given to Tuition Assistance at Aquinas Catholic Schools, to the Diocesan Annual Appeal or to the parish. We had one family who purchased SCRIP before the child was enrolled in school and the money was kept in a savings account until he registered at Aquinas Catholic Schools. Bus Trips from Holy Trinity to the Fireside Theatre in Fort Atkinson, WI. Peter Pan on Saturday, March 19, Rockin’ at the Fireside on Saturday, June 11. The Habitat ReStore is a unique building materials retail outlet to buy the supplies you need for home or office renovation, remodeling, and decorating projects at a fraction of the cost. All proceeds from ReStore benefit the mission of the Habitat for Humanity La Crosse Area to build houses to remove families in need from poverty housing. We need cashiers to assist customers, ring in purchases, answer the phone, and more. We are in need of cashiers on Wednesday afternoons from 2 pm-6 pm; Thursdays from 10 am - 2 pm or 2 pm-6 pm; and Fridays from 10 am -2 pm or 2 pm - 6 pm. Life Lessons from a Teacup Saturday, Jan. 23, 2-4 pm, $40 (includes $15 donation to the FSC’s scholarship fund), register by January 8. An
enchanting afternoon of tea, sweets and inspiration as Carol Weisz reflects on gratitude, uniqueness, our sacred stories and the beautiful gift of sharing a cup of tea with kindred spirits. Our first-ever event designed to raise money for our scholarship funds, ensuring all who desire to attend our programs and retreats can do so. We’ll have lovely teacups to sip from at the event, feel free to bring along your favorite teacup and share its story Sacred Weavings of Our Lives Friday, Jan. 29, 7 pm-Sunday, Jan. 31, Noon.
$185 for overnight retreat with all meals; $135 for commuters, with lunch on Saturday. ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED! Weavings can reflect our lives, having holes and threads of texture, color and sparkle. As we weave, we will contemplate and connect our lives, our loves and sacred spirit. All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring threads, yarns, beads or items of nature that you treasure to add to your creation-a weaving that you will take home that tells your sacred life story.
