MISSIONS COMMITTEE

The Missions and Outreach Committee is preparing for their first Easter food box

distribution and they need your assistance by becoming a Blessing Box Ambassador! We are asking church members to become Blessing Box Ambassadors by nominating

families that they know who are in need by contacting them to verify if they would like to receive a food box. Please contact Becky Parfait at 332-3456 on her cell and leave a

message to let her know your family nominations by the deadline of March 14th.

The boxes will be ready for the Ambassadors to deliver on March 28th. If you have any questions, please just

let her know.

In today’s world, we have people doubting the existence of God.

Even scientists have tried to find reason to deny His existence.

Billy Graham says, “There is scientific evidence pointing to God’s

existence. For example, whatever is in motion must be moved by

another, for motion is the response of matter to power. In the world

of matter there can be no power without life, and life pre-supposes

a being from which emanates the power to move things, such as

tides and the planets. Then there is the law of life. We see objects

that have no intellect, such as stars and planets, moving in a

consistent pattern, cooperating ingeniously with one another.

Hence, it is evident that they achieve their movements not by

accident but by design. Whatever lacks intelligence cannot move

intelligently. An arrow would be useless without a bow and an

archer. What gives direction and purpose and design to inanimate

objects? It is God. He is the underlying, motivating force of life.”

Father God, we are grateful for the life-giving force You have

given us. We know that we walk by faith, and not by sight. Help us

to never doubt Your existence, but to help and encourage others to

know You in a way that enriches them and brings eternal life to

each of them. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Can you believe that Easter is just around the corner already? Sure enough, we are preparing for our annual Easter Egg Hunt to be on

Sunday, March 28 for our

children but we need your help!

THIS MONTH! We are on the hunt for plastic eggs, lots of candy donations, and volunteers. If you are interested in helping prepare for this great event for the kiddos, just let Faythe know but if you’d rather purchase candy and plastic eggs, just drop them off at the church office anytime in the next several weeks.

We're working to get as much as we can to begin assembling the eggs on March 27, so we truly thank everyone in advance for helping with this fun and memorable event!
