WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY

Marble has instated a system to keep folks safe during perilous weather. Marble will shut its

doors when NYC schools are closed or a state of emergency has been declared. This means

that the Fellowship will not meet when either of those situations exist. If the weather is ques-

tionable, please listen to the news to see if Marble will be opened or closed on Wednesday.

STAMPS FOR THE WOUNDED OUTREACH

Support ‘hobby therapy’ for wounded Veterans by collecting cancelled US and foreign stamps. Joanne Ebersbach regularly sends in packages of stamps to Dr. Alan Rosen of the Lyons Inter-national Stamp Club which administers the program. Our November donation was acknowl-edged with a letter of thanks. Commemorative and high-valued stamps are most in demand. Leave one quarter of an inch or more border of paper around all sides of the stamp. Drop off stamps on Wednesdays in the collection box. Joanne will send another package in the spring.

UPDATES HOUR CHILDREN, INC. CHRISTMAS PROJECT

The Fellowship gave generously to our 2015 Christmas project. Together with the Women’s

Ministry, we purchased toddler socks, clothing and other items for incarcerated and recently

released mothers. We also collected $98 towards the purchase of new toddler clothing.

Items were distributed by the Long Island City non-profit Hour Children, Inc.
