Feast of Christ the King

A great deal of appreciation and thanks to the Liturgy Committee led by Lori Vatamanuk and all the leading Coordinators and Ministers who served and ministered for the wonderful celebration of our Parish

Patron Christ the King. Father Antony

A great big “THANK YOU” to the many hands involved in the Parish Breakfast celebrating the Feast of our Patron, Christ the King. A special thanks to Tina Zelinski the chef and assistants Tom Baiton & Larry Mack who ensured the hot food was cooked and ready. To the other behind the scenes folks that prepped food, setup, served, washed dishes and cleaned up, thank you: Jan Mazur, Dave, Lill & Roger Lareau, Ann Taylor, Sharon Bauche, Deana Pageot, Joanna Majkut, Anika & Aaron D’Souza, James Schneider, Tibor & Karen Takach, Steve Wernikowski, Donna Losie and Don & Karen Hansen. The efforts of these folks and others who stepped up and helped where needed made the delivery of the breakfast a joy and yes there was some fun times in the kitchen to make it memorable.

Finally, to all our Christ the King family members who came out to enjoy the wonderful food, thanks for participating and taking the opportunity to enjoy the fellowship and community building. See you again next year!

We meet every Monday afternoon (except for long weekends) from 1:00 pm in the Parish Centre. Anyone who enjoys knitting, crocheting and visiting is invited to join our group. We have been a part of our parish family for many years. We welcome beginners or experts - please come and spend an afternoon with us and bring a friend. Non-parishoners are very welcome too. Donations of wool would be greatly appreciated.

Advent Collection for Christmas Hampers.

Once again, we are joining with Ecole St. Pius to collect food for Christmas Hampers. As well, we are collecting warm men's clothing for Marian Centre and Carmichael Outreach. We invite you to take a tag off the trees at the church entrances and purchase that item or a nourishing food item of your choice. If you prefer, a cash donation is welcomed.

We are collecting heavy socks, mitts and hats for men. A list of food items will be in next week's bulletin. If you are aware of a need in the parish for a hamper, please contact the parish office or Penny at 306-586-7469.

Thank you for your generosity in this season of giving.
