Maquet Variop components meet hygienic and spatial requirements for prevent-ing cross-contamination during the cleaning and disinfection process. Wall system Maquet Variop is based on a solid substructure that inte-grates needed technology within the wall system while creating a smooth and hygienic surface. The wall elements are arranged in a three-parted manner which organizes built- in switches, sockets, and gas supply outlets. With the interchangeable wall elements, you can maintain inte-grated technology without a need for comprehensive building construction.

Ceiling systemThe modular ceiling system can flexibly adapt to the functional components, such as air supply, surgical lights, ceiling supply units, and room lighting. A flexible selection of mounting points to the raw ceiling forms the framework for the individual ceiling cassettes. The room lighting is part of the ceiling system, will be planned and implemented in correspondence to the whole room.

Door systemThe hygienic, powder-coated Maquet Variop Door System offers sliding and hinged doors of different sizes. It offers a wide range of options (e. g. radiation protection, window sizes, safety equipment), and can be flexibly adapted to your specific requirements and interfaces on site.

Built-in elementsSometimes, the little things make all the difference. That’s why Maquet Variop offers a wide range of built-in elements to complement your workflows. Monitors, clocks, cabinets, and much more can be added to your room to improve usability. For example, pass-through cabinets may build the perfect bridge between sterile corridors and the OR.

Maquet Variop is a modular room system that consists of a sub structure, wall and ceiling elements, doors, and the integration of optional built-in elements.

The Maquet Variop portfolio also includes an attractive glass wall system that meets even the highest hygienic standards. Frameless glass elements are made from thermally toughened single-pane safety glass (SSG), and are resistant to extreme stresses and impacts.

The glass wall system is based on the proven Maquet Variop substructure. All joints are optically and hygienically caulked with sealing tape and exchangeable joint profiles for optimum hygiene.
