TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENTThe continued growth of precision engineering is strongly supported in Fenland through the Fenland Engineering Skills Centre at Stainless Metalcraft Ltd, which was funded jointly by the public and private sector and more recently the new engineering block at the College of West Anglia. The college provides a

modern learning environment developing new engineering courses and workplace training building on strong partnerships with local engineering companies. Advanced manufacturing and engineering support organisations which operate in Fenland are the Manufacturing Advisory Service, Institute for Manufacturing and the Agricultural Engineers Association.
