Troca de brocas no Sistema Push But t on(PB)Para colocar a broca, pressione a cabea Push But ton,introduza a broca at o final e solte (2, fig. A, B e C).Para retirar a broca pressione a cabea Push But tone puxe a broca.

Troca de brocas no Sistema Fri ct ion Gri p(FG)Introduza a cabea da Alta Rotao no encaixe com pinodo saca-brocas e pressione para expulsar a broca (fig. E).

Para recolocar, introduza a broca m anualm ente na pina epressione contra o apoio m etlico do saca-brocas (fig. F).

Utilize brocas com dim etro entre 1,590 e 1,600m m conform e norm a ISO 1797-1 (verifique otpico Recom endaes e cuidados).Para evitar a deform ao de brocas com pontasfinas, utilize o orifcio localizado na parte inferiordo sacador de brocas (fig. G ).

Engate rpidoPara colocar / retirar a Pea de M o no engate rpido,puxe o anel destrador do engate em direo conexoe em purre/puxe a Pea de M o (fig. H).

Borracha de vedaoSubstitua em caso de vazam ento (8 e 9, fig. B e C).

Anis de vedao do Engate RpidoSubstitua em caso de vazam ento de gua ou ar (fig. J).

Troca da lmpada de canetas com Fibra pticaRetire a Pea de M o, gire em sentido anti-horrio acapa de proteo da lm pada e substitua esta com oauxlio de um pano ou toalha de papel, sem tocar em

seu bulbo (a acidez da pele reduz a vida til dalm pada). Recoloque a capa de proteo (fig. K).

Lubrificao da Alta Rotao Engate RpidoColoque o dispositivo de lubrificao (15, fig. I) no frascode leo (m antenha o frasco na posio vertical), conecteo dispositivo na parte posterior da Alta Rotao e injete

leo por 2 segundos (fig. I). Antes de usar, acione a Peade M o por 15 segundos para rem over o excesso deleo. Use o dispositivo azul quando a caneta estiveresterilizada, e o verm elho quando no estiver esterilizada.

Lubrificao da Alta Rotao com Engate 2 ou 4 FurosM antenha o frasco de leo na posio vertical,

introduza seu aplicador na entrada de ar da Pea deM o e injete leo por 2 segundos (13 ou 14, fig. M ).Antes de usar, acione a Pea de M o por 15 segundospara rem over o excesso de leo. Use o dispositivo azulquando a caneta estiver esterilizada, e o verm elhoquando no estiver esterilizada.

Lubrifique antes e aps cada ciclo de esterilizaoe 3 vezes ao dia, incio, m eio e trm ino da jornadade trabalho. Recom enda-se leo Dabi Atlantena lubrificao.

Retorne atrava para a posio original. Puxe a broca paraconfirm ar se ela est travada. Para retirar a broca,gire a trava para a direita, at o fim do curso, e puxea broca.

Utilize brocas com dim etro entre 2,334 e 2,350m m conform e ISO 1797-1 (verificar o tpicoRecom endaes e cuidados).

Troca de brocas da Pea Reta

G ire no sentido horrio o anel destravador, at o finaldo curso (9, fig. D). Introduza a broca. Deixe parafora da Pea Reta apenas a parte ativa da broca.G ire o anel destravador no sentido anti-horrio at ofinal, para travar a broca. Para retirar a broca, gire oanel no sentido horrio, at o final do curso, e puxe abroca.

Utilize brocas com dim etro entre 2,334 e 2,350m m conform e ISO 1797-1 (verificar o tpicoRecom endaes e cuidados).

Gire o anel regulador do M icrom otor totalm ente no sentidoanti-horrio (fig. L) e, m antendo o frasco de leo na posiovertical, introduza seu aplicador na entrada de ar da Peade M o e injete leo por 2 segundos (13 ou 14, fig. M ).

Gire o anel regulador totalm ente no sentido horrio erepita o procedim ento. Antes de usar, acione a Pea deM o por 15 segundos para rem over o excesso de leo.

Lubrificao do Contra ngulo / Pea RetaIntroduza o aplicador do frasco de leo para BaixaRotao ao redor do eixo da parte posterior das Peas

de M o (12, fig. M ). M antenha o frasco de leo naposio vertical acionado por 2 segundos. Funcionepor 15 segundos para rem over excesso de lubrificante.

Lubrifique antes de cada ciclo de esterilizao e 3 vezao dia, incio, m eio e trm ino da jornada de trabalho.Recom enda-se leo Dabi Atlante na lubrificao.

Informaes comunsLimpeza e esterilizao das Peas de MoRem ova a broca, acione por 30 segundos, desinfetea superfcie com lcool 70 G L, lubrifique conform eas instrues deste M anual. Purgue o excesso de leo,

em pacote e leve autoclave. A ntes de utilizar,lubrifique novam ente.Esterilize Peas de M o, saca-brocas, agulha delim peza do sprayem autoclave a 135C e 2,2 bar.A utilizao de outros produtos qum icos podedanificar a Pea de M o.Para as Alta Rotao em que se aplica, o engaterpido (Quick Conect ion) no autoclavvel.

Changing burs in the Push Button System (PB)To insert the bur, press the push button head, introducethe bur all the w ay and release it (2, Figs. A, B and C).To extract the bur, press the push button head and pullout the bur.

Changing burs in the Friction Grip System (FG)Insert the head of the high-speed handpiece into the pin socketof the bur extractor and press to pull out the bur (Fig. E).

To reinstall the bur, introduce it m anually into the gripper andpress against the m etal support of the bur extractor. (Fig. F).

Use burs w ith a diam eter betw een 1.590 and1.600 m m according to the ISO 1797-1 Standard(refer to the topic titled Recommendations andCareon page 06). In order to prevent deform ationof burs w ith thin tips, use the hole located on thelow er side of the bur extractor (Fig. G).

Quick ConnexionIn order to insert/rem ove the handpiece using the quickcoupling device, pull the unlocking ring of the coupling tow ardthe connector and push/pull the handpiece (Fig. H).

Sealing rubberThe sealing rubber should be replaced in case ofleakage (8 and 9, Figs. B and C).

Sealing ring of Quick ConnexionReplace it in case of w ater or air leakage (Fig. J).

Changing light bulbsRem ove the handpiece, turn the bulb protector covercounterclockw ise and change the bulb using a pieceof cloth or a paper tow el so as not to touch the bulb

(skin acidity reduces the useful life of the bulb). Putthe protector cover back on (Fg. K).

Lubrication of Quick Connexion handpiecesInsert the lubricating device (15, Fig. I) into the oilflask (keep the flask in the vertical position), connectthe device to the back side of the high-speed

handpiece and inject oil for 2 seconds (Fig. I). Beforeusing, run the handpiece for 15 seconds to rem oveexcess oil. Use the blue device w hen the handpiece issterilized and the red one w hen it is not sterilized.

Lubrication of Borden and Midwest handpiecesKeep the oil flask in the vertical position, introduce itslubricating device into the air inlet of the handpiecefor 2 seconds (13 or 14, Fig. M ). Before using, run thehandpiece for 15 seconds to rem ove excess oil. Usethe blue device w hen the handpiece is sterilized andthe red one w hen it is not sterilized.k side of the high-speed handpiece and inject oil for 2seconds (Fig. I). Changing contra angle bursTurn the gripper lock clockw ise all the w ay (8, Fig. D).Insert the bur all the w ay w ith a slight rotatingm ovem ent in order to fix it in place. Return the lockto its original position. Pull the bur to confirm that it islocked. To rem ove the bur, turn the lock clockw ise allthe w ay, and pull out the bur.

Connection of the low-speed handpiece spray hoseC onnect the hose to the tube located on them icrom otor fram ew ork (7 and 10, Fig. D). Use thedevice for fitting the external spray into the contraangle or into the straight piece (11, Fig. D).

Connection of the micromotor with the handpiecesFit the contra angle or the straight piece into thecoupling of the m icrom otor (4, Fig. D). To disconnectthem , press on the unlocking pin of the m icrom otorand pull the handpiece (5, Fig. D).

Control of the micromotor rotationRotation control is m ade by m eans of the m icrom otorrotation adjustm ent ring (Fig. L). W hen the m arks onthe fram ew ork and on the ring coincide, the air inletis shut and the m icrom otor w ill not rotate. Turn thering clockw ise or anticlockw ise to open for air andcontrol rotation speed and direction as required.

Lubrication of the micromotorRotate the adjustm ent ring of the m icrom otorcom pletely anticlockw ise (Fig. L) and, w hile keepingthe flask of oil in the vertical position, introduce theoiling device into the air inlet of the handpiece andinject oil for 2 seconds (13 or 14, Fig. M ). Rotate the

adjustm ent ring com pletely clockw ise and repeat theprocedure. Before using, run the handpiece for 15seconds to rem ove any excess oil.

Lubrication of the contra angle and straight pieceInsert the oiling device of the oil flask for low -speedhandpieces around the axis on the rear part of thehandpieces (12, Fig. M ). Keep the flask of oil in thevertical position and activated for 2 seconds. Run thehandpiece for 15 seconds to elim inate any excess oil.

Lubricate before each sterilization cycle and 3tim es per day: at the start, in the m iddle and atthe end of each w orking period. Dabi Atlantelubricating oil is recom m ended for the lubrication.

Common Information

Handpiece cleaning and sterilizationRem ove the bur, run the handpiece for 30 seconds, disinfectits surface w ith 70 GL alcohol, and lubricate according to

the instructions contained in this m anual. Purge any excessoil, w rap the handpiece and put it into the autoclave.Before using it again, lubricate it once m ore.

Handpieces, bur extractors, and spray cleaningneedles should be sterilized in an autoclave at135C and 2.2 bar. The use of any other chem icalproducts can dam age the handpiece. Please note

that the quick-connexion device is notautoclavable.

Preventive maintenanceIn order to reduce equipm ent faults and increase

durability, call Dabi Atlante Authorized TechnicalAssistance and set a regular preventive m aintenanceplan.

Corrective maintenanceIn case the equipm ent presents any faults that arenot listed in Troubleshooting, contact Dabi Atlante

Authorized Technical Assistance.Do not open the equipm ent and/or try to repairit as such action m ay aggravate the problem oreven generate further m alfunctioning.

Circuit diagrams, list of parts, components, othersIn case they are necessary, ask Dabi Atlante forelectric diagram s and/or lists of parts, com ponentsor other inform ation, w hich w ill be supplied byagreem ent.

Recommendations and CareUse only good-quality burs and in good conditions.

Dabi Atlante w ill not be held responsible for anydam ages caused to burs w ith diam eters differentfrom those indicated in the specifications. Rem ovethe bur w henever it is not being used. Thecom pressed air used m ust alw ays be dry, filteredand free of oil. O nly filtered w ater, preferablydistilled, should be used. The handpiece should not

be dipped into solvents, oils or cleaning solutions.Never clean the handpieces in ultrasonic cleaners.Never sterilize in dry heat. The m axim um sterilizationtem perature is 135C. The flask of oil w ill last forapproxim ately 30 days if the m inim um lubricationrecom m ended (tw ice a day) is correctly perform ed.W e recom m end w earing personal safety glasses and

gloves. The use of these products is restricted toqualified personnel.

Procedure in case equipmentfunctioning is alteredIn case the equipm ent presents any faults, firstly

check w hether they are listed underTroubleshooting. If the problem cannot be solved,turn off the equipm ent, unplug it from the pow ersource outlet and call for Dabi Atlante AuthorizedTechnical Assistance.
