First steps to operate your phone

SIM card information

When you subscribe to a cellular network, you receivea plug-in SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card

loaded with your subscription details, such as yourPIN, and available optional services.

Install and charge the phone

Remove the battery.

If the phone is alreadyon, first turn it off byholding [ ].

Insert the SIM card.

Sending a sequence of DTMF tones

Dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones are the tones

This network feature displays the cost of calls. This

menu is available only if your SIM card supports thisfeature. Note that this is not intended to be used forbilling purposes.

Totalcost: check the total cost of all of your calls.If the total cost exceeds the maximum cost set inSetmaxcost, you must reset the counter beforeyou can make another call.

Maxcost: check the maximum cost limit set in

Setmaxcost. Resetcounters: reset the cost counters. You

need to enter your PIN2.

Setmaxcost: set the maximum cost authorisedfor your calls. You need to enter your PIN2.

Price/ Unit: set the price per unit that is appliedwhen the cost of your calls is calculated. You needto enter your PIN2.

You can store phone numbers on
