    1  Cautions 

    ■ The installation of the product are not exposed to direct sunlight

    ■ Communication failure and measure changes are affected by sunlight (infrared).

    ■ Install a well-ventilated and no moisture place

    ■ Temperature range of products available is ” -10 ~ +40 degrees “

    Other temperatures may cause malfunctions.

    ■ The body of the product must be grounded on the floor

    ■ Do not touch charge cable on the floor.

    ■ Where voltage fluctuations are severe or unstable should install a power stabilizer.

    ■ Air compressors or other heavy equipment, power consumption,

    preferably with a power outlet to isolate or separate.

    4. How to install programs(WINDOWS XP , WINDOWS VISTA, WINDOWS 7)

    1.  After inserting the CD into your computer program, "Setup.exe" file, please run 2. Proceeding steps are completed automatically reboot. 3. Excute C:\wheel\alignment.exe file 4. Then appears start screen.

    ◈  If you use WINDOWS VISTA, WINDOWS 7 , Provided on the CD "smartiosys.sys" file copy to "C: \ Windows" folder.

    5. How to install USB port( WINDOWS XP, WINDOWS VISTA, WINDOWS 7 )

    6. Main Program

    6-1 START-UP SCREEN 

    F1 MEASUREMENT & ADJUSTMENT  A button for wheel alignment measuring and adjusting.

    F2  CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT 

    It manage customer information and stores previously-measured data.

    F3 SYSTEM CONFIGURATION: It enables entering the company name, settingthe units of measurements and the process types, andexecuting the self-registering program

    6-2 MEASUREMENT 

    6-2-1 Selecting the manufacturer & model

    F1 Measure  Pressing this button will initiate the measuring process.

    F2 Register   Pressing this button will register vehicle specification. 

    F5 Main Menu  Pressing this button will switch to the Main menu.

    6-2-2 Registration New Vehicle Specification

    ◈  How to add a New Model 

    Press the Add a New Model button when the model you want is not listed afteryou have chosen the manufacturer in the Selecting Model mode.Select the manufacturer and enter a model.

    .

    F1 Register   To add the model after entering the specification

    F2 Front Wheel Animation To register the front wheel adjustment 

    F3 Rear Wheel Animation  To register the rear wheel adjustment animation

    F4 Delete  To delete the specifications, select the desiredmodel in the previous screen and press this button

    F5 Cancel To go back to the previous screen.

    6-2-3 RUN-OUT 

    ◈ Directions 

    you should turn on whichever way that is most convenient to you.

    ⓐ  Rotate the clamp 180 degree towards the car’s front and press on the head.press RE button.

    ⓑ  Signal will ring and the 1st step lamp will turn yellow.(It should remain still at this stage)

    ⓒ  The measuring will be carried out. With the end of the measurement, signal will

    sound and the lamp will turn green.

    ⓓ  The lamp turning green signals the end of step one, after rotating the clamp180

    degree, press RE button.

    ⓔ  A starting signal will ring, the lamp will turn yellow and the second measurement

    will be made.

    ⓕ  After the complete measurement, an ending signal will sound, and

    the lamp will turn from yellow to green .

    CUATION : Alignment during operation, the head and the head is blocked,the normal measurement and adjustment operations does not occur.

    6-2-4 CASTER SWING 

    ①   Wheel line up & Level check up.

    Turn the steering wheel straight foward and set Head levelas you look at the alignment graphic bar or upper arrow of the screen.

    ( if level of head is not correct, the buzzer sound may be occurred.)

    5-degree Right & Left Swing 

    1) 5 degree Right Swing Turn the steering wheel slowly 5degrees to the Right At 5 degreethe screen will turn light blue and

    display “OK”.

    2) 5 degree Left Swing

    3) 0-degree SwingWithin 0.2degree controls,controlthe horizontal, the buzzer sounds

    to end rings

    6-2-5 Rear / Front Setback MeasurementRear setback and front setback will be measured automatically by heads.(Do not touch head during the process)

    What is the Spoiler Program? 

    For cars with very low front bumper, the front wheel set-back sensor will be blocked andthe measurement cannot be made. In this case, run the Spoiler Program to tilt theside head’s setback sensors to measure the setback and tilt them back to their originalpositions .

    If you run the Spoiler Program, must connect Front left & right head by cross cable.

    Notice

    Lift up the Left & Right set-back sensors to their

    original positions,Lock and press the “ME” button.

    .

    The Spoiler program can be activated if“F1” is pressed.

    Tilt down until the Left set-back sensor is nolonger blocked by the bumper,Lock, and press the “ME” button.

    Tilt down until the Right set-back sensor is zerodegreeLock, and press the “ME” button.

    6-2-6 VIEWING THE MEASUREMENTS

    F1  Front Wheel Adjustment  Press this button to adjust the front wheels.F2  Rear Wheel Adjustment  Press this button to adjust the rear wheels.

    F5  Re-Caster Press this button to measure caster again. 

    6-2-7 Printing The Measurements 

    Clicking “ Print ” at the button of right screen to print thecurrent measurements.

    6-3-1  Adjustment Screen 

    ①  Rear Wheel Adjustment Screen

    F1  Front Wheel Adjustment  Press this button to adjust the front wheels.

    F2  Adjustment Animation  Press this button to view the animation of thevehicle’s adjusted area.

    F3 Shim  Press this button to view Shim function.

    F4 Measurements  Press this button to view the measurements.

    F5  End  Press this button to terminate the adjustment.

    ③   DATA SAVE & PRINT 

    If you press F5 (End) button on adjustment screen, the detail will follow as below

    If the program asks you if you wish to save

    the customer data, press F1 button

     A customer name and the vehiclenumber are required to register thecustomer

    Enter the remaining fieldsand press F4 the saving button

    F1  This button will switchto adjustment mode

    F2  This button will print outmeasurement data

    F3  This button will switch to therun-out screen. 

    F5  This button is to end

    6-4. Special function

    6-4-1 Camber Jack-up 

    To adjust wheels that are lifted up in the air manually.Applied on front and rear wheel adjustment only .

    1) Press “CAM” key from Head2) When the left screen appears, Lift your car up and

    press “M” key from Head, and start the job.3) After finishing the adjustment, bring down the car and

    press “CAM” key to go back to the main mode.

    6-4-2 Total Jack-up 

    To adjust wheels using 2-Post LiftApplied on front and rear wheel adjustment only  

    1) Press “F9” button from keyboard or Pick “ Total jack-up” on monitor2) Lift your car up and press “M” key from Head ,and start the job.3) After finishing the adjustment, bring down the car and press “Esc” key

    to go back to the main mode.

    6-4-3. EZ- TOE

    To adjust wheels using steering wheel when it’s difficult to control Toe at a normal position.Applied on front wheel adjustment only..

    1) Press “F7” button from keyboard2) Turn the steereing wheel to be in a proper position to carry out the task.

    (within an angle of 10 degree)3) Press “M” key.4) Adjust the Toe.5) Turn the steering wheel back to the original position.6) Press “Esc” button

    7. Question & Answer

    7-1. Power supply

    < Symptoms > ◈  Battery is not charging

    ◈  Red Led light is not coming on the head.

    ◈  Battery Discharges too quick.

    < Resolution > ◈  Charger or battery exchange

    ◈  Call centers are requested to contact the repairs

    7-2. Communication

    ◈  RF Module is not communicating 

    ◈  While measuring, Monitor is unplugged message appears

    ◈  Only Front right and rear Right is not communicating 

    ◈  Run-out will not work

    ◈  Exchange USB cable. .

    7-3. Measurement accuracy

    ◈  Steering is off from the center when going straight forward  

    ◈  Uneven wear pattern is noticed after adjustment.

    ◈ If the lower body of the vehicle fault, after the first repair ismeasured.
