GETTING STARTED Overview Forced Matrix MLM E-Commerce is a plugin which enables you to run a full blown eCommerce based on the Forced Matrix structure MLM Network within the WordPress CMS. Installation WordPress Installation

1. Go to Plugins > Add New. 2. Under Upload, click Browse, locate forcedmatrixmlmecom.zip in your plugin download

package and click Open. 3. Click Install Now to install the WordPress Plugin. 4. If successful, click Activate Plugin to activate it.

FTP Installation

1. Using a FTP program, upload the plugin folder forced-matrix-ecommerce to the /wp-content/plugins folder of your WordPress installation.

2. Go to Plugins screen in your WordPress admin and find the newly uploaded Forced Matrix MLM Ecommerce plugin in the list.

3. Click Activate Plugin to activate it. Plugin Version check Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins Find Forced Matrix MLM Ecommerce plugin in the list at installed plugins page. You can view your plugin existing version as below image instruction –

Dashboard

Immediately, after activation of the plugin, you would need to visit the dashboard page in order to activate your license key. Our blog article explains the process of generation of license key. Information about obtaining Support and relevant articles from our Support Site / Blog are also shown on the Dashboard page.

Create First User: As the first step towards configuring the plugin and start building your network you are required to create the First User of your network. The first user would typically be the company account and all others network / MLM / affiliate users would ultimately be in the downline of the first user.

To create the first user account you are required to choose a username, password and email address. Once the necessary fields have been filled up click the Submit button.


This would create a new user in your WordPress database. This user would also show up in the default Users > All Users interface. Please note that the default WP admin user which you created while installing WordPress is NOT an MLM user. Hence none of the MLM features and pages in the Member’s Area would work while you are logged in as the default WP Admin user. To start testing and building your network you can use the affiliate URL of the first user.


Settings Overview Use the main menu of Forced Matrix Ecom to configure the settings. Go to Forced Matrix Ecom > Settings to open the Settings Page.

The settings page has the following sections / tabs.

Let’s understand the features and functions of each of the tabs.


General Settings: The General Settings tab is a very important page as the basic parameters of your network are configured here.


At the top of the page you would see a URL in bold as below - RedirectMatch 301 u/(.*) http://yourdemo.com/?sp_name=$1 This URL is required to be copied and paste in the .htaccess file of your WordPress install. This line of code can be pasted after the #End WordPress line in the .htaccess file. This is required to be pasted in the .htaccess file for the Affiliate URLs of the Members to work correctly. If this line of code is not pasted in the .htaccess file, then the affiliate URLs for all the members would result in a 404 Page not found error. Let’s understand the features of each of the section of this general setting page. Eligibility Settings: No. of Personal Referrer(s) : The minimum number of people a member needs to sponsor into the network before he becomes entitled to earn commissions from his network. You can user zero if you do not want to set this eligibility. Network Settings: Network Width : This defines the levels upto which the payment will be distributed for a successful sale in the network. Once defined, this value cannot be changed. Network Depth : This defines the levels upto which the payment will be distributed for a successful sale in the network. Once defined, this value cannot be changed.


Coupon Code: Coupon Code Value : A coupon is generated for each member of the network with his username. This coupon can be provided by the members to their referrals to get a discount on their purchases. This value sets the discount % that would be available to users who use these coupons to make purchases in the Shop. Global Distribution Amount : Commissions can be distributed on the product price or a specified distribution amount. If the amount that you would like to add for commission distribution is a standard % of the product price, specify the desired percentage value here. You can also set individual distribution amount(%) for individual product at product entry page as screenshot below -

Registration Settings: Redirect Affiliate URL: In case you would like the affiliate URL to redirect to a different page, please specify the desired URL in this field. For example - if you want registration through Qualifications product, then place the qualification product category url in this text field so that user automatically redirected at qualification product after using the affiliate url.


Please note - you must update your site .htaccess file with the redirection code that you view it at Forced Matrix Ecom > Settings, General tab as screenshot below -

Registration Through Woocommerce: New users will get an option to join the network on the woocommerce checkout page as screenshot below. You need to choose your choice yes or no. You will be added in the network as mlm user after your order completion by the admin, if you choose ‘Yes’ option at woocommerce checkout page.

Registration Through Qualification Product: If you would like users to purchase a specific product(s) in order to become a part of the network, add those products to a separate category. This category is called the qualification category and the products are known as the qualification products. You need to select the category name in the select box that you want to use for registration purpose.


You can hide the qualification product on the shop. For this , You need to check the option - “Do not show qualification products on the Shop page.” Ewallet Transfer Settings - Choose the ewallet transfer setting option ‘yes’ if you want to enable wallet to wallet transfer at user frontend at financial dashboard page.


Payout Settings:

These settings define the commissions that would be distributed in the network for a single sale in the network.

Referral Commission - This is the amount paid to a sponsor for sponsoring a new member in the network. If a member refers a paid member in his downline, the referring member receives this Referral Commission Amount for referring the new member. Network Users Commission: These are the commission percentages that are used for distributing in the upline when a purchase is made by a member of the network. Please NOTE - No. of Levels setting is defined under the General Tab - Network Settings - Network Depth text field entry.


General Customers Commission: These are the commission percentages that are used for distributing in the upline when a purchase is made by a general customer who is not a member of the network. It may be noted that the member who referred the sale will always be the Level 1 user. His sponsor will be Level 2 and so on for the other users in the network.


Deductions Settings:

These settings will define the amounts that would be deducted from the withdrawals made by members at MLM Financial Dashboard. Please note - All % amounts would always apply the specified % to the actual amount withdrawn. Withdrawal Methods Settings You can configure the various withdrawal methods and the amount (fixed or percentage) that would be deductible if the member opts for a particular method of withdrawal. You need to click at “Add Row” button for adding multiple withdrawal methods. You can delete the specific withdrawal method by selecting the “Select” check box for a specific row then clicking at “Delete Row” button.

Withdrawal methods that you set at above “Withdrawal Method Settings” screenshot is/are listed at Financial Dashboard page in the Withdrawal Mode select box as screenshot below -


Ewallet Transfer Settings - eWallet transfer fee is set as fixed or percentage figure at eWallet transfer settings. Minimum transferable amount is also set at this page.

These settings can be checked at user’s financial dashboard at frontend as screenshot below. You can also view the ewallet transfer fee - 2, in the screenshot below that has been set in the wallet transfer setting in deduction page.


Other Deductions Settings Deductions are generic amounts that are deductible while initiating withdrawals. You can configure other deductions(fixed or percentage) that would be deducted from a withdrawal. Typical examples could include a general service charge, admin fee, withholding tax or any other amount that you like to deduct from the withdrawal amount.


You need to click at “Add Row” button for adding multiple deduction entries. You can delete the specific deduction entry by selecting the “Select” check box for a specific row then clicking at “Delete Row” button. Deduction Name that you set at above “Other Deductions Settings” screenshot is/are listed at Financial Dashboard page as screenshot below -



Change Sponsor:

Change Sponsor Settings: Use the form below to change the sponsor for a particular user. First specify the user for whom a sponsor change needs to be done. Then specify the new sponsor for the user. Please note- A user cannot be moved anywhere in his own downline.


Email Settings:

You can manage and edit the email templates for different activities like - when a payout is received, when a new member joins your downline, when a withdrawal is initiated and when a withdrawal is processed. You can enable or disable specific emailing activity by marking check/uncheck at the “Enable this Mail” checkbox. You can also merge or insert new entries in the template. Please hover the mouse at “Merge Codes” and click at specific item for inserting it into template.

Payout Received Mail: When the payout routine is run this email template will be sent to all the members who have earned commissions and bonuses in a particular payout cycle.


Network Growing Mail: When a new member joins the network this email will be sent to all members in the upline of that user right upto the first user of the network.


Withdrawal Initiated Mail: This is the email that is sent to the site admin notifying him when a member initiates a new withdrawal from the MLM Financial Dashboard.

Withdrawal Processed Mail: This email is sent to an individual member once his withdrawal has been successfully processed by the admin.


Wallet Transfer Mail - This email is sent to an individual member once a member transfers money to him.


Reset All MLM Data: Please navigate at Forced Matrix Ecom > Reset All MLM Data, for erasing all users (except your WP Admin), all MLM Settings, Commissions, Bonuses, Payouts, etc. You need to click at “Reset All MLM Data” button to start the reset. CAUTION: Be very sure that you would like to erase all MLM data and start afresh. There is no way to get your data back once erased (unless of course you have a backup).

An alert is shown as below when you click at the button - “Reset All MLM Data”. You can click at the “cancel” or “ok” button for resetting.


You would get the below message after click at “Ok” button in the alert box above. All MLM data has been deleted from the system. You can now start afresh by creating the First User of the network by Clicking Here..

You can open “first user creation form” by clicking at the link above that has been shown in the red box, screenshot. You can also open the “first user creation form” by clicking at the tab - “Create First User”.

Please note this tab is hidden when you create “first user” in the network. It would not visible after first user creation.


Run Payouts: Please navigate at Forced Matrix Ecom > Run Payouts to view the “Run Payout Routine” button as screenshot below -

You need to click at “Run Payout Routine” button for running the payout. The preview of payout tabulated data would visible if payout is available for eligible members as screenshot below -

Please NOTE - As and when orders are marked as completed (either when an online payment is made or the admin changes the order status manually) commissions are credited to the member accounts in the upline. However, these amounts do not show up in their accounts till the time the Payout Routine is not run.


If you change the commission %s in between 2 payouts, then you would notice some inconsistencies in the commissions distributed. This would be because the commissions credited to member accounts before the change will be as per the old percentage figures. The new percentages will be applicable only to new orders marked as completed after the figures were changed. If you would like to change the commission percentages then it is recommended that the payout routine is run and all existing commissions are distributed.Then the commission percentages can be changed. You can cancel the payout preview, if you are not satisfied with the commission calculation output. You need to click at the button “Something wrong. Cancel” for cancelling it. Please click at “All is Well. Commit” button for running the payout successfully. The commissions would not show up in member account till the time the Payout Routine is not run. This script can be run manually once every week, every fortnight or every month depending on the payout cycle of your network. Alternately, you can also schedule (cron job) the following sample URL(you need to replace ‘yourdomainname’ word with your working site domain name) as per the frequency of the payout cycle. http://yourdomainname.com/wp-content/plugins/forced-matrix-ecommerce/cronjobs/paycycle.php


User Report:

Please Input a member's username or email address in the input box below to get complete information about the member's account.

You can view Personal Information, Payouts list, Personal Sales and Genealogy of a member as search result as below screenshot -


View Genealogy You can view the genealogy details of the user by clicking at the link ‘View Genealogy’ as screenshot below.


You need to click at the individual level link for viewing all members list at individual level. List of members will be shown as printshot below -

Personal Sales You can view all members list that you have sponsored. You need to click at “View All” at personal section. Members list will be shown as screenshot below -


My Payouts You can view all the payouts list at My Payouts section. You need to click at “View All” link to view the list of payouts as screenshot below -

Individual payout detail can be viewed by clicking at the “View” link against each of the payout row. It would show data as below screenshot -



Withdrawals: Pending User Withdrawals: User’s initiated withdrawal request list are listed at this page. Admin can “Process” or “Delete” the specific withdrawal request.

You can export the pending user withdrawal request list into csv file format by clicking at the button “Export to CSV”.

You can also processed or deleted multiple of withdrawal initiate rows by using bulk actions as screenshot above.


Reports: Processed Withdrawals Report: You can view the list of all withdrawal requests that have been successfully processed. You can export the list into csv file format by clicking at the button “Export to CSV”

Payout Reports You can view the list of all payouts that have been successfully processed. Individual payout detail can be viewed by clicking at the link ‘view’ as shown in the screenshot below -

Role Discounts:

Role based discount is managed and edited at this page. You can also add new role and respective discount value.


Frontend – Network or Member’s area:

Our plugin provides inbuilt MLM pages for showing it in the frontend of the site. The pages are automatically generated when you install the plugin. Please note - You must be logged in as MLM user to use or view the relevant data on the MLM pages. Otherwise it would show the error message as below - Oops. It seems you do not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Only users who are part of the network will be able to access this page. Please contact the system administrator at [email protected] if you would like to join the network. Dashboard - The Dashboard page shows all network related information in the easiest and simplest way in graphical colored sections at single page. You can navigate at each section’s detail page by clicking at "View All" or “View Detail” link. You can use ‘Dashboard’ page link in your site main navigation as screenshot below -

User can navigate at each network pages(financial dashboard page, team sales page etc.) from this dashboard page. Below is the sample screenshot for a user’s dashboard page.



There are seven sections at the dashboard page. Below are details for each one - Total Members - It shows all your downlines members irrespective of your sponsorship. Total Ewallet - It shows total ewallet available balance in your account. Team Sales - It shows total sales amount of your downlines. Personal Sales - It shows your downlines members that have sponsored by you. Sales - It shows latest five sales entries in your account as colored graph Payouts - It shows latest five payout entries in your account as colored graph. Personal Informations - It shows email, date of joining, username and sponsor name etc. Genealogy - It shows level wise number of members. Let’s understand the features of each of the above section -


Total Members It shows all your downlines members irrespective of your sponsorship. All members list will be shown as below screenshot when you click at “View All” link the Total Members box.

Total Ewallet or MLM Financial Dashboard Financial details like - account balance, withdrawal balance, transaction history are shown at the financial dashboard page. You can view this page by clicking at “View All” link in the Total Ewallet section at the dashboard page. This page shows the user’s financial summary. The user can also initiate a withdrawal from his account from this page using “Make a withdrawal” form. He can also transfer amount to existing mlm user from this page using ‘Wallet to wallet transfer” form.


Clicking on the View Transaction History would show details of all transactions in the user’s account. Currently the transaction history shows a credit of $100 in the user’s account in Payout ID: 1 and $215 for Payout ID: 2.


Team Sales You can view this page by clicking at “View All” link in the Team Sales section at the dashboard page. This page shows the sales at different levels in the genealogy. The default view is the current month. However, by specifying the Date From and Date To in the date filters on the top of the page, the sales during a particular period can be obtained.



Personal Sales - You can view this page by clicking at “View All” link in the Personal Sales section at the dashboard page. It shows all members as screenshot below, that has been sponsored by you.

Payouts This page shows a list of all payouts where the member has earned commissions. This page has been linked at Payouts graph section at the dashboard page at “View Detail” link.

Clicking on the view link against a particular payout would show the complete details of that Payout as screenshot below.


The detail page shows a breakup of all commissions earned during that payout cycle. Each commission has a Commission Type mentioned against it. Let us spend a moment to understand each commission type. Level - This is a commission earned against an order placed by a network user. The username of the user who placed the order is also mentioned. Referral - This is a commission earned against an order placed by a network user that sponsored or referred by you. Customer Commission - This is a commission earned against an order placed by a general customer who is not a part of the network. Left Over - This commission will ONLY be shown in the interface of the First User or the Company Account. If a particular sale does not trigger a commission upto 5 levels (because at that level the number of levels are less than 5), any commission that is left over is credited to the first user account (company account) of the network.



Genealogy You can navigate this page from dashboard page by clicking at “View Detail” link in the Genealogy section. Below is the genealogy page screenshot -

You need to click at the individual level link (Level 1, Level 2 etc.) for viewing all members list at individual level. List of members will be shown as printshot below -


You can also search available members list for a user by placing the username in the search box. Search result list for username - T2, will be shown as below screenshot -
