1.Unlock the door with a bar code .

Place a user’s bar code below a bar code reader.

Close a door. Then the door will automatically lock. * Press the top button to temporarily open the door. * To open the door for a longer period, activate the bottom button. Reactivate the button to lock the door.

2. Place your dewar in the correct position on the scales.

Remove the bar code reader and scan the bar code which corresponds with the dewar followed by your user’s bar code.* Never look directly into the laser on the bar code reader. * You will hear a tone and the green light will be turned on if you have successfully scanned the bar code.

3. Press and turn latch to access the bar code reader and refill controls.

For dewar with wheels, ensure the wheels are locked.

4. Before proceeding further, shut valve completely.

The control panell will desplay the dewar number and the maximum refill amount etc. If user’s code and dewar code do not correspond, you will not be able to proceed this point. If you have the correct numbers, the refill button will begin to flash.

If you wish to reset this process, please press the stop button. Activate the button once without holding.Also if there is a delay, the process will automatically be cancelled and reset.In this case, the display will show all zeros. Rescan the bar codes

5. Connecting the supply hose.* Place connector over the dewar. Apply downward pressure until you hear a clicking sound. This sound indicates that it is located correctly. If you do not hear a clicking sound, it is not located correctly. Reposition and attempt to locate again until you are successful.*Do not place anything on the scales as the machine will misinterpret that the filling process is complete.In this case, please make a contact to the engineer.

* Hot gas from the hose will escape through a vent during the precooling process

6. Continue to hold down the locator and hose and press the start fill button. You do not need to hold the button.* Depending on the temperature, the machine may need to complete a precooling process. Please wait until this process is taking place

7.Open the valve slowly.

Once precooling process is complete, the refill lump will be turned on.

At the beginning, don’t open the valve too much since the gas will flow out from the hose. Open the valve slowly once the liquid nitrogen flows out.

8.Don’t forget to close the valve.

Once the filling procedure is finished, the supply will be stopped automatically.※If there is a problem with liquid nitrogen flowing out, please contact engineer.※Regarding the safety shut down procedure; This machine monitors the change in weight of the filling. When the change is zero, the machine will automatically shut down. On rare occasions, the machine may shut down even when the filling process is correct since the weight change shows zero. If this happens, please try again.

When the “完了” button lights up, a buzzer will ring. Press the “ブザーリセット” button to turn it off.

9. Returning the hose to the proper position.The hose will jump back to the original position when you tug it a little. If you tug too hard, there will be too much pressure at the base. So don’t pull too hard.

Always place back the supply hose into the storage pipe. If you leave it hanging, it will be dangerouse in such cases like strong winds hitting the hose.

10.Make sure you close the door of the controller box.Be careful not to pinch the bar code reader’s cord.

11.When leaving, open the door by pressing the lock button (the top button).When pressing the top button, key will unlock temporarily.

12. Confirm the door is locked.The door will automatically lock after a few seconds pressing the top button.

If the door is not locked, there is a possibility that you have pressed the button by mistake. If the bottom button is pressed wrongly (the red light will be on), correct to the normal situation by pressing the button again (the red light will be off).

If the sun light is shining on the bar code, the reader may not read it successfully.Please shade the bar code from the sun with your hand and then attempt to scan.

If you are having difficulty scanning the bar code, change the angle and distance of the reader until you successfully scan the bar code.The bar code reader sometimes needs some motion to activate the reader, use a smooth sweeping motion to assist scanning.Vary the distance until the whole barcode is illuminated.

Appendix

If you fail to read the bar code or, the start button is not flashing, please press the stop button. This button functions as a reset button when pressed. (Don’t hold.)

After confirming that the values have been reset to 0000, you may continue to scan the bar code again.

＜Reset function＞

Do not hold the stop button as this will cause the system to enter Diagnostic mode,.To exit this mode, hold the stop button again to return to automatic collecting mode.

If you still fail to reset the system, remove the dewars from the scales, then switch the power off.

＜Reset function 2＞

Switch the power back on and then the system will be reset.If this fails, call the engineer.

In the case where there is an overflow of liquid nitrogen from the dewar, activate the stop button to stop filling.Also if the filling value does not change during filling, the system will automatically enter the safety mode.In the case where you use the automatic safety mode more than once, please contact the engineer to reset and adjust the settings for your dewar.

If you do not require to fill the dewar to it’s maximum value, press the stop button once the value equals the desired value.For example, if the dewar is a 100L dewar and you require it half full, press the stop button once the filling value equals around 50L.
