    Youcanpurchaseanoptionalprintercabinetorprinterbase.Toinstalltheprintercabinetorprinterbase:

    Yourprintersupportsanoptionalheavymediatray.Tousethistray,simplyremovethestandardtraythatcamewiththeprinter(Tray1)andreplaceitwiththeheavymediatray.Storethestandardtrayintheboxtheoptionaltraycamein.

    5 Rollthehighcapacityfeeder towardtheprinteruntilthefeeder lockstothedockingframe.

    Youhear a click whenthefeeder locksintothecorrectposition.

    6 Attachtheinterfacecabletothebackofthe printer andtightenthethumbscrews.

    Donotinstallthehighcapacityfeederpower cordatthistime.

    8 Insertthepointonthecableholder intothe holeonthebackofthe topoptionaldrawer.

  • Installing height adjustment spacers Ifthepinsonthehighcapacityfeeder do notalignwiththeholesinthedockingframe,adjusttheheightofthefeeder. Youcaneitherremovethefactory installedspacer oraddtwospacersbetweeneachcasterandthebottomof thehighcapacityfeeder. Usethefollowingstepstoaddorremove spacers.

    1 Determinetheheightdifferencebetweenhighcapacityfeeder alignmentpinsandthedockingframe.

    2 Placethehighcapacityfeederon thefloor oradequateworksurface.

    3 Removethefourscrewssecuring oneofthecasterstothehigh capacityfeeder.

    4 Addorremovespacers. Toaddspacers:

    a Insertthefourscrewsthroughthecaster.

    b Placethespacersonthe screws.

    c Alignandinsertthescrewsintothescrewholesonthehigh capacityfeeder.

    a Pushdownslightly onthecover.

    Transferbelt

    Warning: Thephotodeveloper hasacoveroverthe greenglasstube.Donottouchtheglass. Touchingtheglassmaydamageitandreduceprintquality.Donot removethecoveruntil youbegininstallingthephotodeveloper.

    Yourprintershipswithfourcolor-coded photodeveloperswhichyoumustplaceinsidethetopcover. Each photodeveloper hasitsowncolor-codedposition.

    1 Liftandremovethefourshipping spacersfromthetransferbelt.

    2 Removeanyshippingtapeandpackingmaterial.

    3 Removeoneofthephotodevelopersfromitspacking material.

    Youcaninstallthe photodevelopersinanyorder. However,itmaybeeasiertoinstall themfromlefttoright:black, yellow,cyan,andmagenta.

    4 Removethetapefromthephotodeveloper.
