Inject caulk at 4 roofcorners as indicated in photo above.Allow to dry for 1 hour before closing roof.

Test caulk by pouring water at corners to create a puddle. Wait 5 minutes to ensure repair was successful.

Issue: In heat of sun, the tape joint at the four corners of the roof can shift and create a path for water to drip into interior at corners.

Solution:To inject silicone caulk at this joint to prevent water infiltration.

OLD NEW

Issue:Your Mantis currently has Velstick hook that faces downwards(B.1) In combination with step 4 , reversing this will improve water shedding (see B.2 and B.3)

1. Remove Velstick from perimeter of opening in trailer base only. Use flathead screwdriver and hammer to pry it off if necessary. Discard.

2. Install supplied Velstick with hook facing upwards. Use small amounts of weatherstrip adhesive for positive attachment.

3. See figure B.4 to install Velstick pieces in the correct order.

Issue:Wind driven rain from driving car, from time to time, might cause a temporary hairline gap and allow some water to infiltrate.

Solution:Install a weatherstrip “dam” across front of roof to pre-vent wind driven rain.

1. With Mantis roof closed, wipe top of panel with rubbing alcohol to clean and prep surface.

2. Install supplied weatherstrip per diagrams below.
