General Instructions for conductin online M.Phil / Ph.D - Quali Entrance Examinations - September - 2021

GUIDELINES

Exam Date: 13.09.2021 (Monday)/ 14.09.2021 (Tuesday)

s Exam Time : 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Exam Duration : 1 Hour 30 Minutes

The Online M.Phil / Ph.D - Qualifying Entrance Examination for Jully 2021 session is scheduled on 13.09.2021 (Monday)/ 14.09.2021 (Tuesday.) The Online M.Phil / Ph.D - Qualifying Entrance Examination for Jully 2021 session will be conducted for the following Diciplines.

Online Entrance Exam Process and Instructions

1. Candidates are advised to ensure uninterrupted power supply and required internet connectivity before appearing for the online entrance examination.

2. Candidates are advised to appear for online M.Phil / Ph.D - Qualifying Entrance Examinations using a Desktop / Laptop. Usage of mobile phone are not advisible.

3. Candidate is responsible and advised to attempt the examination only when he/she is prepared to submit the answers in one sitting.

4. The Online Entrance exam portal will be available on the 13th & 14th of September 2021, between the scheduled times 9.00 AM and 5.00 PM.

5. Candidate can take the exam only once, either on 13th or 14th of September 2021. Any attempt to logon on both the days is not permitted.

6. Duration of the examination is only 1 Hour and 30 minutes.The candidate can access the exam portal at any time between the scheduled date and time. ·

7. Candidates can take up the online Entrance examination from their own location Visit www.msuniv.ac.in or use the web link http://www.msugee.neoproctorexam.com to take up the Entrance Examinations.

8. Candidates Application Number and Registered Mobile Number shall be used as the login credentials.

9. SMS based OTP Validation will be sent to the Registered Mobile Number, which has to be submitted at the time of login. Hence ensure that SMS will be received in the

registered mobile number.

10. If the candidate gets logged off from the session due to the Technical/ Connectivity/ Power issue, the candidate can re-login with the same credential to the portal to continue the exam from the discontinued level of examination. It will be allowed to the maximum of Five successful logins on the day of examination. The total time duration of the examination will be only 1 Hour and 30 minutes.

11. The Entrance Exam consists of 50 questions in multiple - choice format. The clock will be displayed and will start to count down. Time taken by the candidat~ for answering each question will be monitored individually. The system will automatically submit on completion of all questions at the lapse of time.

12.Candidate shall note that when the question is displayed, the examinee must carefully consider the question and answer. If the candidate does not know the answer and skips the question, the question will not be available for answering again. Therefore the candidate must answer or skip the question when it is displayed and proceed to the

next question.

13. From the start of the exam, the activity of each examinee will be monitored including capturing of IP id, change of operation or IP idling, etc.,

14.Candidates are asked to use only the mouse for navigation.Candidate should not open any other tab or use the keys of the keyboard for any purpose, and such action will be treated as malpractice, and the candidate will be debarred

15.Candidates are advised in any case to start the exam before or by 3.30 PM on the examination day so that they will get their full duration of 1 Hour and 30 minutes, and the portal will get closed at 5 PM.

16.Candidates shall note that during the examination, the activities of the examinee will be monitored by the interface. Therefore the candidates are advised not to indulge in impersonation or obtaining external help in any form. If such an event is noticed, the respective examinee will be disqualified.
