Welcome to our 6th Annual Fundraising Banquet and Auction for the Manitoba chapter of Safari Club International. SCI is the largest hunting organization in the world, that supports the rights of hunters and the freedom to hunt, while protecting all the game species of the world for future generations to enjoy. We have a lot of quality hunting and fishing trips in the auction tonight, as well as top notch guns, equipment and beautiful artwork. We have the Cabela’s Canada cap draw, a cooler full of your favorite refreshments, as well as many card draws for quality firearms. We also have expanded our rainbow and silent auctions with excellent top end merchandise to be won.

Manitoba SCI, your chapter, continues to fund local as well as national and international projects, helping SCI’s mandate of protecting the hunter and the game animals we pursue, with projects funded on all three levels, including conservation (Stars helicopter, Radios/Dog Vests for Manitoba Search and Rescue, Decoys for MB. Conservation, BC Grizzly closure, Area 26 wolf study, Sharp-tails Plus Foundation Inc. educational (South Eastern Mentored Hunts, Team Lady Fowlers, two more Manitoba SCI bursaries) and humanitarian (Blue bags to Namibia, Soldier on hunt to NM, as well as some local programs). Safari Club International - First for Hunters is the leader in protecting the freedom to hunt and in promoting wildlife conservation worldwide.

1 Day Fishing Trip for 2 For Mighty Sturgeon

Northern Missouri duck hunt for 2 people for 3 days and 3 nights during the November/December 2017 season. This can be delayed to the 2018 season. You will be hunting in a private reserve of over 600 acres of flooded timber, grain fields and marsh; simply put “Duck Paradise”. Miles of elevated levees, along with pump stations, always assure you of open water. Blinds range from massive executive blinds built into the timber, which can house 12 guests to personal layouts, pit blinds, and elevated platforms.

An official Argo outfitter, he has access to the new machines which is always fun. Your guides consist of a top notch group of Young Guns who call themselves the “Dixie Whistlers”. As an added bonus on this hunt you can pursue The Midwestern whitetail at no additional charge. Many deer in the 150-160”+ range have been taken on this reserve. If a Buck or Doe is harvested you just pay a trophy fee for the game harvested. That morning when you limit out on ducks at 7am gives you the option to chase whitetail that evening or vice versa. Located on a hill, the lodge overlooks the wetlands and duck ponds that make up this area called Mallard Valley.

4 Day Fallow Deer Hunt in Austria for 2 Hunters

This hunt is for 2 hunters for four days and includes 2 Fallow Deer bucks, the biggest available. Practically everything is included in this 4 day hunt, except the airport transfer to hunting area (approximately a 3-1/2 hour drive) and an Austrian hunting license ($160 USD). Trophy skinning and caping costs are extra. Extra hunting days and extra animals are per Martin’s pricelist.

C.G. HAENEL from Suhl has been manufacturing precision firearms since 1840. Carl Gottlieb Haenel, Royal Prussian Commissar for firearms manufacturing, came to Suhl with the idea of manufacturing weapons on an industrial scale. The Haenel arrow soon became a symbol for unprecedented precision, innovative design and manufacturing principles, and robustness.

Carl Wilhelm Aydt developed the Aydt rifle for the Haenel in the 19th century, and Hugo and Hans Schmeisser developed legendary submachine guns and assault rifles in the 20th century.

Red Stag (March/April is ROAR season), Axis Deer, Fallow Deer, Blackbuck and Water Buffalo. This hunt is scheduled for open dates between March and April, 2018. Dates to be worked out with Rafael.

Practically everything is included upon arrival in Buenos Aires. Accommodations, meals, wines, beer, soft drinks, 1 x 1 guide service, trophy care, caping/salting, and travel in the hunting area.

You will be met in BA and will be assisted along through customs. Accommodations will be first class and 3 full meals a day are mandatory, by Argentina standards! Rafael knows the areas well, and has been outfitting hunts for wing-shooting and big game for over 35 years.

Chris and Peg Bilkey, of Track and Trail Safaris has come up with a 5 day all inclusive New Zealand Red Stag hunt.The hunt includes lodging and meals, for 1 hunter and 1 non-hunter, plus the trophy fee for a Red Stag scoring up to 230 SCI points.

The hunt will be scheduled for open dates in 2018. Dates to be worked out with Chris and Peg, depending on what other animals you may want. The New Zealand roar is an awesome experience, with the best time for the stags being March and April, but they can also be successfully hunted from February to August. The best time for Tahr is April to August, when they have their winter coats. For Chamois, the rut is from mid April to June. Ram and Goat can be hunted year round, as can the Tahr and Chamois, as these horned animals keep their horns year round.

The non-hunter may hunt if they choose, and you can upgrade to include all that Chris offers, including Tahr, Chamois, Fallow deer, Sambar, Sika, Whitetail, and even ducks, geese and swans, from the regular published pricelist. You may also want to upgrade your Stag to one of the monsters that New Zealand is famous for. I’m sure Chris can arrange a wallaby, rabbit or possum shoot, to help with the over population of these species. With no pedators in New Zealand, the rough species breed like.....rabbits. Chris utilizes the 4WD tracks to access the mountains, then hunt by extensive glassing, to locate and assess the trophy quality, before the final approach on foot is planned.

Córdoba is considered the dove shooting capital of the world The 100 square mile radius (60 km) around the lodge is annually inhabited by over 30 million doves.

The lodge has around 25 shooting fields which are at a very short drive through the region’s rich farmland. Joe Jakab of Point Blank Hunts is offering a 1 x 1 hunt for a trophy Greenland Musk Ox above the arctic circle in western Greenland. This area has the highest concentration of trophy Musk Ox.

The hunt will be scheduled for open dates in either the summer season (Aug 1 to Oct 15, 2017) or the spring season (Feb 11 - April 11, 2018). Dates to be worked out with Joe. Everything is included upon arrival in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Kangerlussuaq is serviced Monday to Fridays from Reyjakavik, Iceland.
