Mesial outline is very slightly convex with distal outline

more convex Mesio-incisal angle is sharp

    Disto-incisal angle is rounded

Incisal edge is sloping distally; if the tooth is newly

erupted, the mamelones will be seen. Mamelones are

small projections of enamel present on the incisal 1/3 of

    newly erupted teeth.

Root Outline The mesial and distal outline of the root tapered to a

    Elevations

Crown surface is smooth and convex with maximum

convexity at the cervical 1/3 representing the cervical

ridgelinear elevation found on cervical 1/3 on the

    labial/Buccal aspect of all teeth.

Root surface is smooth and convex

    Depression

Shallow developmental grooves could be seen separating

    the mamelonesdevelopmental grooves are linear

depressions representing the complete union or fusion

    of the lobes

    Elevations

Mesial and Distal Marginal ridgeMesial and Distal

marginal ridges are linear elevations found on the

lingual aspect of all anterior teeth located on the mesial

and distal borders of each tooth.

Cingulum is twisted distallylinear elevation found on

the lingual aspect of all anterior teeth located on the

    cervical 1/3 of the tooth.

    incisal 1/3 of incisors

Crown OutlineLabial: convex with maximum convexity at the cervical 1/3

which represents cervical ridge Linear elevation found on

the cervical 1/3 of labial/buccal aspect of all teeth

    Lingual:

Convex incisally which represent incisal ridge

Concave in middle 1/3 which represent lingual fossa

Linear elevation found on the lingual incisal 1/3 of

    incisors

Convex cervically which represent cingulum linear

elevation found on the lingual aspect of all anterior teethlocated on the cervical 1/3 of the tooth.

Cervical: curves incisally (Mesial is always more curved than

    distal)

    Root Outline

The outline are nearly straight from the cervical line to the

middle 1/3 then tapered to a pointed apex

    Surface

    anatomy

    of the

    crown

    and root

The crownhave smooth and convex proximal surfaces

Mesial contact area is in the centre of incisal 1/3

Distal contact area is in the junction of middle and

    incisal 1/3

The Rootis smooth but have longitudinal developmental

depressions which is deeper distally than mesially.
