SPRING FLING/CONSTABLE UPDATE COME JOIN US for our annual Spring Fling on May 15th for our crawfish boil! We will have updates on the Constable Patrol as well as discussion of the upcoming Self-Defense Classes offered by the Constable Patrol. We have included below a map of recent crime statistics as compiled by the HPD, specifically March 27-April 26. The black outline indicates the area currently patrolled by the Mandell-Winlow Constable Patrol. We will discuss this and more at the Spring Fling, so make sure to be there!

APRIL 2016 YARD OF THE MONTH 1501 Marshall St
Rod Danielson and Kelly DeHay April showers bring May flowers so goes the saying and one can only imagine what’s in store for our neighbors’ beautiful yard seeing how lush and inviting it looks for this month Yard of Month. Blue daze and knockout roses welcome you on either side of the walkway as you pass through the front gate. The majestic oak trees are embraced by emerald ligularia. These oak trees provide much welcomed shade since they were planted in 2000 when they were only ten years old. The front doorway is framed with cascading ferns on tall container while the foxtails soften the edges of the house. Our neighbors Rod Danielson and Kelly DeHay tell us we missed the colors of cyclamen from last month but I’m sure that in a matter of time, the showers we’ve had thus far will bring exciting colors to their yard soon. Congratulations to our friends at 1501 Marshall! Keep blooming MPCA!

The Menil Collection and surrounding nonprofit organizations present the eighth annual community arts festival, a free afternoon of art and entertainment that extends across the Menil campus.
