Mentoring System Mentoring of students is carried out by Class Advisers,

Senior faculty members and Heads of Departments after each and every test (course-specific) in the presence of parents and the details of mentoring/counseling are recorded in the Counseling Report of the student concerned.

Professional guidance and Career advancement programmes are also conducted for batches of students during every semester using external experts and industry personnel.

Faculty advisors guide students in academic and non-academic activities. .

Specified hours are scheduled in the class time-table during which students discuss with the counselor about their difficulties.

Medical facilities The College ensures that students and staff have easy access to medical facilities at any point of time. There is a Dispensary and a Doctor on call 24X7 to attend to any kind of medical emergency.

Student Insurance

Our Students are protected with an elaborate insurance cover up to 2.5 lakhs. It protects them from possible accidents and disasters. In addition to the pupils, their parents too come under the insurance net as they are their nominees. Our staff members are also benefited under this scheme.

Cultural activities Students take part in a variety of extra curricular activities in different programmes such as dances, mono acting, playing musical instruments, enacting dramas etc., Students exhibit that the talents in the cultural events arranged by the college every year. Selective performances are displayed in functions like Annual Day etc.,

Sports activities Indoor games like carom, chess, table tennis and shuttle are

played by our students in a well-maintained room. The playground accommodates two volley ball courts, a ball badminton court, a foot ball field, a cricket ground with two cricket nets. A kho–kho court, a kabaddi court, a tenni-coit court and a throw ball court. A well-laid 200 metre track is available. Our students have bagged a number of good winning records at the inter-departmental, inter-collegiate and University level tournaments. Multi-Gym activities take place in the Boys’ Hostel under the supervision of the Physical Education Department

Literary activities Programmes such as Quiz, Debates etc., are arranged for our students periodically. Our Communication Skills Lab trained them in developing their Communication Skills in terms of pronunciation and accent etc.,

Magazine/Newsletter News letters from different departments of the college are brought out during every academic year. They pave way for the students not only in contributing optical but also exposing their latent talents.

Technical activities/Tech Fest Technical Symposia are arranged by the students themselves in their departments. Experts from Industries, eminent academicians, professionals from corporate companies are invited to deliver speeches in their domain.

Industrial Visits/Tours Industrial visits are organized for the students. Students of all branches take on industrial visits/tours to leading industries in Tamilnadu and other states.
