• NEEDS assessment is very important to determine program structure and development.  

• LEADERSHIP must lead; be involved and model all initiatives

• PDP and related support models must be coordinated, facilitated to ensure buy-in, integration and adoption.

• TIME for (true) planning and collaboration a factor in program success

• ALL Learning Community stakeholders members; staff, students, families must be represented

• PROGRESSIVE LEANRING environments must be fomented, and modeled to gain commitment from the risk-adverse -otherwise inertia rules...

• Approach supporting change via building relationships: mentorships, partnerships, teams 

• Build leadership capacity throughout the school community by grade levels, depts. “laptop reps”, student junior tech support

• Assess formatively, and consistently, to determine changes, effectiveness

• Create, develop multiple learning, support, PD modalities, opportunities, relief teacher periods, tutorial, lesson, bank, monthly tech tips,

• Step by step transitions may be more effective for some schools
