Job Code: XXX Salary/wage Grade: J Status: Exempt Labor Type: Full Time Position Summary: Leading a team of network, voice and video conferencing engineers, the Manager, Network Communications is responsible for ensuring that all communications are delivered on a scalable, secure and highly resilient infrastructure. Technical/Functional Expectations: % 1. Domain Specialist: Leads the architectural design, implementation and sustainability efforts of Fidelis' network, telecommunications and video conferencing systems. Technical activities include: creation of technology and capability roadmaps that align with organizational needs; capacity planning and estimation; ensure that all systems are appropriately maintained and in a supported state; promote HIPAA compliance through a set of well thought out and maintained configuration management policies processes; lead incident management and root cause analysis processes; oversees the development and maintenance of disaster recovery documentation, processes and capabilities. % 2. Project Management: Develops business case justifications and cost-benefit analysis for technology based initiatives; works with Fidelis Project Management Office and Release Management teams in coordinating resources to ensure timelines are met; approves project milestones; provides summary reports as needed. % 3. Planning: Able to quickly focus on what is important; establish a sequence of tasks and completion dates; set priorities and allocate time and resources when faced with competing demands. % 4. Resource Management: Identify and allocate resources in order to accomplish objectives. % 5. Staff Leadership Maintenance: Recruit, select, orient, and train employees in order to maintain staff able to meet objectives. plan performance expectations, monitor, and appraise the associate's job results and performance

Position Summary:

Leading a team of network, voice and video conferencing engineers, the Manager,

Network Communications is responsible for ensuring that all communications are

% 6. Vendor

Management:

Effectively work with vendors in order satisfy short-term

business initiatives and long-term strategic decisions; manage

vendors through formalized service level agreements; perform

contract review and edits to ensure project solution needs are

met; optimize costs through effective negotiations.

Communication:

Capable of clearly expressing ideas, information, or concerns

with the spoken word; present verbal information in a

straightforward manner, ask questions in order to open channels

of communication; listen to understand the perspectives of

others.

8. Other duties as

required:

Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related

Business Experience:

1. Management: 5+ years experience in a management role with direct

reports, 3 of which should be in a call center environment.

2. Network: 10+ years of professional Network management

experience working in a medium to enterprise

environment.

3. Network and

Telecommunications:

Have extensive vertical experience in Avaya telephony

and Cisco Networking.

4. Systems Design: Experience in system design, with a strong demonstration

of understanding in performance management concepts.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

1. BA/BS - Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred.

2. 2 - 3 yrs mgt exp and 5 - 8 yrs work in related field required.

3. CCNA or other CCNP certification preferred.
