to the following five areas:
Integration: Level of integration between mission, aims and
objectives of the institution and those of libraryUser satisfaction: Overall user satisfaction, document delivery,
information services, study facilities, information skills program
Delivery of objectives and output: Service standards, development
targets, library hours, document delivery, reference services,information skills instruction, collection.
Efficiency: Outputs related to resource input
Economy: Cost per unit

budgeting and reporting, resource mobilization, technical processing
methods, manpower deployment, basic amenities and facilities as well as
activities such as collection development management or information
resource development, technical services, information servicesgeneration, and technological, legal and copyright issues etc., of the
present and future operations.

CONSLUSION
To ensure quality and excellence steady growth and
progress in tune with technological developments and advancements in
learning process, the libraries have to organize on modern lines.
In accreditation and reaccreditations process the NAAC assesses thelibraries on these indicators and parameters.
Well developed libraries with best practices would definitely result in
excellent accreditation
