MARCA project
The project MARCA is promoted and
supported by the Torino Chamber of
commerce, in cooperation with the
Piedmont Agency and conceived and
curated by Barbara Brondi and Marco
Rainò.
MARCA expresses the excellences of Turin district by fostering a
virtuous collaboration between local institutions, designers and
companies.
MARCA is a collection of everyday objects made by designers and
manufacturers based in Torino. The objects in MARCA's catalogue
can be customised by the final user and are available for purchase
online, supplied in an assembly kit. The act of assembling gives the
opportunity to the user of re-interpretation, by offering wide range
of possible arrangements resulting from the combination of various
components of the object. This provides the customer with an
unique finished product.

Tessitura Rivese.
It is a curtain for
interior
decoration, but
laser cut.
Lucento
LUCENTO is a "nose" for fine dusts conceived by
Giorgio Olivero from TODO design studio and
realized by the company Light Solutions.
The project started from the idea of creating an
object that could compensate the reduced human
olfactory capacity in measuring the quantity of fine
dusts inside the space in which the device is
installed and to convert the data into a variable
lighting "texture".
