Time Management for Right-Brained People, or What to do if to-do Lists are not Your Style
• Know your values. View your life as a whole. Write a mission statement for your life that describes your values and the kind of life you want to lead. Periodically review it to evaluate if what you are doing is contributing to that life.
• Do less. Drop time-wasting activities from your life. Consider dropping an activity when you add anew one.
• Slow down. Sometimes it’s useful to hurry. At other times, haste is a choice that serves no real purpose except to raise your stress level.

Time Management for Right Brained People (continued):
• Remember people. Don’t forget to make time for the people that are important in your life.
• Focus on outcomes. Visualizing the desired outcome can be as important as a detailed action plan.
• Handle it now. Make decisions as they come up. Don’t put them off until a later time. This only will increase your stress and anxiety levels.

Time Management for Right Brained People (continued):
• Buy Less. When you purchase an item, ask yourself how much money and time it will take to locate, assemble, use, repair, and maintain that item. You may find that you’re better off adapting something you already own or doing without.
• Forget about time. Schedule some down time every day when you can do nothing, free of guilt. One of the most effective ways to manage time is to periodically forget about it.
