How did Jesus begin His earthly ministry?

• (Mat 3:13-17 NKJV) “Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. {14} And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" {15} But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." How did Jesus begin His earthly ministry?

• In (Mat 3:13-17 NKJV), {16} When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. {17} And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

related it to Christ resurrection.    (1 Cor 15:14-19 NKJV) And if Christ is not

risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. {15} Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up; if in fact the dead do not rise. {16} For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen.

financial support.• Some think the “good” times will always

continue.

• I’m reminded of the story that my dad told of a man that lived before the great depression. He had made very good money, but spent most of what he made. Then the depression came and he was forced to live with very little. He was asked why he hadn’t saved some of his money for hard times. His answer was simple: “I thought it would always be that way.
